No duty no service

Great architecture with free underground parking. Most of shopper were from mainland. They don’t have Chanel or Louis Vuitton if you want purchase handbags. Not sure where they hired all their sells associates. We went into Yves Saint Laurent store (handbags and cloth) there were 5-6 young gals standing around just chitchatting. Not even single one acknowledged us or say hi. Well yes I was in my casual wear on that day but people with Chanel bags and dressed Valentino didn’t get a welcome word neither. Lol All luxury brand companies should be aware who they hire not to ruin their reputation. Do yourself a favor just go and take a picture with the cool building and enjoy their AC. Duty free? I got better services at any major airport stores.

For Chinese Mainlanders
May 2018 • Couples
Nice architecture twin buildings house many brand name stores as well as a food court. Prices are probably good for Chinese visitors from the Mainland. Since we are from HK, we did not find the pricing attractive at all. If you are staying in Haitang Bay & have time to spend it’s an ok place to kill an hour at best.

Interesting architecture but not anything spectacular shopping wise
Dec 2017
If you are in the Hainang Bay area in Sanya you could consider visiting the Mall. The structure is impressive. You can see some interesting architectural design aspects. Then there is the people watching. You will be able to see some eclectic collection of clothes, shows, bags...and people. But that is about it. The shops are full of pricey products.

Not a Bad Place to Kill some Hours in Air Conditioned Mall
Aug 2017 • Family
My hotel (Sheraton in Haitang Bay) has free shuttle bus to this mall. So we came here for two-three hours around noon, taken a lunch at food court and windows shopping. Not interested in buying really.

Spacious, comfy, modern. The gardening outside the mall is nice for pictures taking.

Afterall, not a bad place to go if you cannot think of any other activities.

Waste of time
Jun 2017
First you need to have a airplane ticket from Sanya to another country, then you have to register at the reception counter, then after choosing your goods you go to pay at the counter, they tell you that you need to pick it up at the airport (??????!!!) I don't see what is the point of the mall, where you can find the exact same products as in the airport and where the sell attendants are not even knowledgeable...

High end mall that extremely overpriced
Apr 2017 • Family
We are staying in Haitang Bay and decided to check out the Haitang Bay Duty Free complex. Although the building is great and huge, there was barely anyone in there and the shops were all very high end and prices didn't appear to be duty free at all. There are a few eating options which are probably the only reason that you would go there.

Luxury brands and competitive prices
Apr 2017 • Family
Reading previous reviews I wasn't sure I would like to purchase some of the luxury brands the mall has to offer. Impressive futuristic structure consist of two different wings with a link connecting both from the third floor is just walk across from the ground floor over the square. Pretty much all luxury brands and new collections are offered. Service ok and pricing wise you may get some bargains compare to Hong Kong pricing and definitely better then mainland China. Looked at Ferragamo toes and they are priced below the US pricing yet slightly above that in its native Italy. Some cosmetics also at the best rates one can find within Asia and overseas. Not sure for all thy is there to offer but you may check online with the free Wifi that is available in the mall. Restaurant offerings very basic and a KFC, several coffee and juice outlets from Illy. Just good enough for a few hours in the afternoon.

Be careful if flying out from Haikou Intl Airport
Jan 2017 • Friends
Was recommended to visit this new Duty Free Mall -CDF Mall
They have shuttle bus sent by the duty free mall to pick us at the hotel
Journey took about 45 mins
While in the bus they discovered that I'm flying out from Haikou Intl airport and informed me that I'm unable to do any purchase
Apparently you can only buy if you are departing from Sanya - both domestic and Intl airports or Haikou only domestic
In the mall the routine is that you pay for the goods and can only collect upon departure at the airport
There is a quota per person of how much each person can buy, sample will be 12 sets of cosmetics person.
This is a hugh mall with two buildings A and B and have all the famous brands like Prada, Ferragamo, Rolex Omega even Samsonite.
On the 3rd floor is the food court.
Ended up I had a bowl of dessert and bought a packet of coconut candy as I couldn't buy anything else
Prices are not cheap even with 30% off if compared to US or Europe
This mall would be more for the locals Chinese
I would prefer the outlet malls in Europe anytime

Highend shopping
Nov 2016 • Friends
Very expensive shops here. Hard to communicate with salespersons. Apparently they don't accept anything but yuan and unionpay credit cards. Tedious to shop, pay for items in full, pick up items at airport and collect tax refund inside terminal. Buy if your heart desires it; otherwise, small souvernir shops upstairs.

But building very nice architecture. Food court at top level.

Stunning place in the middle of nowhere
Nov 2016
This was a surprise this gigantic shopping mall in the middle of what seemed no where. Super high end shops. But as a North American there was no china pricing. In some if not most cases it was more expensive than Vancouver high end stores. Beautiful mall though. Visit the stunning beach too. The #34 bus from downtown Sanya took us there in 40 miunutes for 11 rmb each. We took a cab back to downtown for 90 rmb.
