I have been to several Universal Studios, Disneylands and Cirque de Soleil shows so maybe my standards are high. Park is very average and show is way over hyped. Sanya is a nice place to visit though. Enjoyed it much more than Haikou which reminds me of typical large Chinese city.

I came wth high expectation but walk out with like "is that it?" feeling.
For $50 entrance fee, you get to see a small zoo and bunch of bikini dancers doing aerobics, the whole show has no theme no story.

If you do not have much time in Sanya, this is one place you can consider. It is not too far from the santa city area. The place is not very big, with a mini zoo. We got our tickets through a taxi driver who bought them on our behalf at a slight discount.
We were there around 5pm, and caught the last show, around 8pm. 2-3 hrs is sufficient for you to walk the whole place (excluding the zoo). There were plentiy of street performances, some of which you can participate.
The theatre is a bit run down. But the show was famtastics. Try to book seats in the central area, as there is a runway which the performers will walk by.
There is a ‘canteen’ in the compound. Food is reasonable.
Cabbing back after the show is easy.
A place suitable for couples and families.

We visited this place to see the romance show- but pleasantly nicely surprised with the whole ambiance of the park at night, it was a little chinese fair. LOVED the show, probably one of the best I have seen in my life!! REALLY well done! The show is divided in four acts, absolutely stunning and rich in chinese culture!! Easy getting in and out of the theatre! Tons of little shops with beautiful items, if you are into shopping. A true chinese feel! HIGHLY recommended! Do not miss the show!

Ticket is quite pricey. We got it at 260RMB per pax through tour agent (cheaper than getting at counter, unless you have a China credit card to use their meituan app). The ticket include the attraction area (nothing much), zoo (smelly) and the show.
The show is definitely the highlight.
Avoid hailing cab or driver on the road. Use didi app (grab/Uber equivalent in China). There’s a cash payment option! There was a driver that quoted us double the price on didi

If you watched Cirque Du Soleil, this is the Chinese version, but the special effect and acrobatic performance is maybe a few times better. Crowd is not good, because plenty of latecomers and disturb the beginning of the show. The seats at the front half of the theatre will move (to the left or the right). Definitely the best show in China.
The Romance park itself is a bit rundown. It has a snow park, but the condition of the rented jackets doesn't seem to be clean, because they just hang it to dry for the next user.
The Zoo smells and small and not nice at all. Do not eat inside the park, food is really awful (oily, smelly and just not suitable for human consumption). Do eat before coming into the park or after. The other activities inside the park are more like a carnival/night market activities and require you to pay to play.

One of the few tourist-tailored activities in Sanya that is well worth visiting. The show was truly amazing, excellent choreography and visuals! The rest of the Romance Park has a lot of activities for kids and food stands - even a KFC.

I visited in the evening, just to see the Romance Show. It cost 300rmb and when I visited there were daily performances at 2, 5 & 8pm. The show featured a variety of different acts, based on parts of Sanya’s history. The costumes and performances were fabulous, with dancing, gymnastics, stunts and aerial acrobatics. There were one or two unexpected surprises, which I won’t mention here...
Overall I really enjoyed the show and would recommend it. A couple of points to note though- 1) One of the scenes contained fighting and blood and was perhaps a little scary for younger family members. 2) The audience was not always very respectful of the performers and there was a lot of chatter throughout the show- unfortunately this can’t be helped because it’s the down to the nature of the tourists.
Surrounding the show there were a number of other attractions. Small souvenir shops and food stalls stayed open until after the show. The was also a zoo and ice world attraction which had already closed by the time I got there at 7pm, which you could visit for an additional cost. The grounds also contained a haunted house, which I believe may have been free, although I didn’t visit it, a small water assault course and some small temples. The show itself lasted one hour, but you could certainly spend an afternoon taking in all of the attractions here.

The show is really incredible and totally worth for a visit! There is food court in the park so no worries to find food in there. The main park is not too big that we could just done our visit in less than 3 hours. There is mini zoo and souvenir shop in the main park that you could spend some time on it before getting into the show.

What are the timings for the show?

There are 3 shows daily 2pm 5pm and 8pm, if going we arrived an hour before give you a little time to look around we found this sufficient if not visiting other parts of the park. Taxis at end of show plentiful as most Chinese are on coach trips.

Hey guys can someone please tell me how much it costs for a day here?

If you are asking about admission charges, it depends on what you are planning to do. 460RMB for admission to their show and all 3 theme zones, 310RMB for just the 3 theme zones without watching the show, 280RMB for just watching the show and 120 to 150RMB for admission to any one of the theme zones. If you are asking about other expenditures within the theme park, a simple meal for one person excluding drinks can easily cost you 100RMB. Not too sure about souvenirs and other metchandise as I am not a touristy person. But I did buy swimming trunks at the entrance to the water park and it was rather pricey, about 40RMB?
