Sanya circus surf club is the place to go and to be in sanya!
Paolo, Luca and Lillo are just great! Friendly and always available for a chat and a good tip on how to get around in
Sanya ( where unless you speak Chinese or you might need some good tips).
I give you a few reasons why to go there:
1) their pizza al taglio is just like at home....I do not know how they do, considering the shortage of ingredients.
2) if you would like to surf ( or learn) they have equipment there right on the beach.
3) the surf club is just great as it combines expat ( with a lot of good stories and tips) but a lot of locals, into surf mostly. And probably the few locals that can speak fluent English, so you better take the chance to meet them !!! Everyone is friendly !
4) best beach party in china :) , till 4 am with great music people from everywhere ( ozzies European, American, Cuban, Russian...) and Right on one of best beaches in china!

This place just opened up and I've been having a great time hanging out there with the local beach goers and surf crowd. It's got a friendly, laid-back atmosphere, good music on the stereo, with tables and seating in the sand that makes for the perfect chill spot for after you've soaked in some sun and caught some waves.
For me it's the perfect place to stash my stuff, get some waves, and afterwards grab a cold beer from their bar and sit down with a pizza and talk it up with the local expats.

If you go to Sanya can't miss the beach bar. Confortable big umbrellas and chairs. Lillo will prepare great Italian authentic sandwich and super cocktails. Highly recommended!

We just dropped by to check out the place, as we saw it on Tripadvisor.
Wonderful little bar, right at the beach.
Surfing was not for us that day as I am a total beginner and Paolo, one of the owners, gave advice to better go to another spot the next day. He was ever so helpful giving directions to get there and helpful tips, once being there.
Depending on wind and wave the sea in front of the bar is supposed to be good for all different experience levels.
But, even without hitting the waves, it's a great place.

If you go to Sanya you must visit this place!!! Beautiful location and amazing food. Good during the day for beach and surf or to spend your night time with fantastic people.

I think that the Pizza Corner & Coffee World store is a great place to visit in Dadonghai, Sanya. Very good food and drinks at fair prices. Staff was helpful and sitting on the balcony catching the breeze was nice.

It was great to spend time here during our week in Sanya. Easy-going, open all hours of the day and night, and with good food. The staff are truly wonderful and make you feel at home.

Stopped by one afternoon and stayed for much of the rest of the day because the staff were so friendly! The drinks were very reasonably priced and the seating area was a great way to relax while looking out over the beach. Went back for drinks at night and had a great time at their dance party. Definitely recommended and I will certainly be back!

While walking on the beach side we stopped occasionallonally in this nice place. We enjoyed one panino sandwich with two cold beers supported by a great choice of music.
Luckily our time at sanya surf club started again in the evening were we could enjoy nice drinks, nice music and a lot of fun with people from all around the world. If you are in Sanya and want to have some genuine fun and dance with your feet on the golden sand this bar on Dadonghai beach is what you are looking for!
Be sure, you will enjoy and get relaxed!
