Chinese style touristic place
Jul 2020 • Solo
This place has a lot of chinese tourists, small shops and food places, all chinese food, nicely done but nothing special.

Nothing worth seeing
Nov 2019 • Couples
Walked here as it is opposite la floret shopping centre. It’s on the way to the beach that is a positive, other than that a few over priced restaurants catering to Chinese and Russian tourists and some rather ugly concrete “architecture” and a water feature that no longer works.

Nothing much here
Oct 2018 • Solo
Central square is just a square with a rather ugly statue and some shops & restaurants.

You can see the central part of Yalong bay beach here. La Floret shopping centre is nearby. Restaurants (excl. McDonald’s) are overpriced. The positive thing is that some local restaurants are open also afternoon before dinner time (high season).

No point coming to see this place at such.

Mall and evening activities
Jan 2018 • Couples
We were here in the evening and there was a lot of people having dinner and enjoying their evenings here. It's especially nice for families with kids as there is a lot of kid's activities, including games and moving robots you can ride. There is some street food including real coconuts, boba, ice cream, and more restaurants all around. There's a stage in the center and some live music and dance performance. The front row seats require paying for an overpriced restaurant, but you can just watch from the second floor. There's also a small-medium sized grocery store upstairs.

Like everything else in Yalong Bay, it is overpriced for China but it's at bargain price compared with other tropical destinations like Hawaii. Besides your hotel/resort, this is probably the best nearby place to go and you're not obligated to buy anything. It's easy to find a taxi here too.

Why is this even listed here
Dec 2016 • Couples
I don't even understand why this is even listed here - it's just a couple of average restaurants in a tacky setting not "something to do", also has a supermarket

A convenient place for local restaurants and markets
May 2015 • Family
Only 30 yuan by taxi and 10 minutes away fro the resorts, a row of local restaurants and markets, we go there for snacks and fresh fruits, restaurants are not fancy but much cheaper than the resorts. Local Hainanese chicken rice is good.

All unreasonably overpriced.
Just a place to ripoff tourists. A coconut can cost you 25rmb when you can get outside for 5-6rmb. A cocacola easily 15rmb when outside is 3.5rmb. Seashells are overpriced you can have better choices in downtown directly from fishermen. The shops have menu only in Chinese and Russian. But what about English. There are based on statistics more western non Russian arrivals in sanya since 2007.

Want to Pay for the Beach?
May 2013 • Family
Then enter here. Otherwise just access the beach from any hotel. The security guards her can be quite rude.
