Tickets are 130RMB to enter this man-made attraction sited along a scenic bit of coast. Consists of a few artificial grottos and large "Buddhist" carvings which the Chinese love for their selfies, but which most westerners will think are naff. The coastline is quite scenic, but no better than what most of the local 5 star resort hotels can offer.... More

A lot of such attractions not attractive at all. You could spend your money on others. Other attractions you can do without is The end of the world ( Tian ai hai ko)

This has got to be the most overrated (I'm still scratching my head on how the resort won the 5A ranking from the PRC nation wide ranking agency) and overpriced attraction in Sanya.. Particularly for visitors from tropical countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia etc, this will be a really disappointing attraction. It also has a really ludicrous tale surrounding what... think I paid around 150 yuan for entry fee, but what you get is just another man-made "attraction" . Lots of rocks, which feels like it is being placed there artificially , give the place a story lines, and it become a "tourist attraction", where visitor paid hundred to see it. Save up your money for something else.

Not my favorite beach on the island- a bit run down and dirty. So many more to choose from with nicer sand and 1st class bars and restaurants

The best thing is you can get the number 25 bus from Yalong bay or anywhere along Sanya seafront. It's a very low cost way to see the area and the park is quite pretty. As stated by others swimming is not allowed which is a shame as it a nice mixture of sand and rocks. The journey goes a... More

As with many spots in Hainan this one is a scenic costal spot where Chinese come to walk and picnic. It wasn't too crowded and the water had lots of rocky outcroppings you could walk around on. Don't go out of your way to come here as they don't allow swimming.

It is a nice place to spend a leisurely morning. You can get there by taking a public bus and immerse yourself with the locals. The journey will take a little more than an hour and it may not be easy to get a seat or more depending on traffic. Getting back is easier as it is the terminal station... More

I spent much more time on the rocky beach enjoying the fantastic sea view than actually exploring the other Taoist artefacts in the theme park. A sprawling place which takes several hours to explore. The beach is much better than that at Tianya Haijiao in my opinion
