Nice calm park
Oct 2019 • Family
Nothing really special but well maintained and typical Chinese activities such as dancing, playing games and of course catching fishes. If you like, you can climb the hills.

No entrance fee.

Urban park provides relief from the motorway outside
Jan 2019 • Couples
This is a relatively modern urban park in the geographically-central part of Zhuhai. I imagine the people who live in the numerous blocks of apartments closeby are very appreciative of this green space. It's off a busy 8-lane highway along which there is little of interest. It's easily accessible by various buses (we went on the 69). You can walk around the lake in the park, and rest along the way. The locals use the park for various activities so you can get a glimpse into Chinese life. There's a temple complex set into the hill, and if you follow the path to the temples and continue walking, you will end up climbing many stairs up the side of the mountain and will eventually reach the top from where you can see all over this part of Zhuhai. You can then follow a different pathway to get down again. There may be other paths on the mountain; maybe we will explore again. I applaud the craftspeople who constructed the steps up and down the mountain. It's a pleasant park but I don't think it's a great tourist attraction; it's more for those living in Zhuhai who need some green space.

Beautiful and Clean
Mar 2016 • Solo
This is, in my opinion, one of the nicest parks in Zhuhai.
I've been to all of them over the years yet I keep returning to Bailian. It has great hiking paths into the mountain where you will find many shrines dedicated to the Chinese Gods.
It's is very clean and has a beautiful lake for casual boating

One of my favorite

The visit here is like a short hike up a hill that has lots of foliage and running rivers.

It is also dotted with shrines of local deities that one can chose to pay respect or otherwise.

Nice exercise!

Bailiandong Park- Something for everyone
May 2012 • Friends
Very nice park to explore. This park features a small amusement area with a few rides for small children. There is also a BBQ area and a skating rink. You can also rent fishing equipment and do some fishing or rent a paddle boat and cruise around the lake. For some good exercise climb the many stair paths to the caves and temples. Look for the ancient rock carvings and ring the enormous bell at the top of the hill. Many people come here to light incense and give offerings. There are also many wide open spaces to stretch out or small secluded places to gather your thoughts. This place has something for everyone.

The park is quite clean and scenic. We visited in February and already found some flower blossoming. It should be a nice park in Spring time.
