A beautiful park alongside the Qijiang river where you can take a boat cruise, or relax at Starbucks (at Sheraton Hotel) sipping on a coffee and admiring the view. The old Yuezhong shipyard forms part of the park with an old lighthouse and other dockyard fixtures till in tack - all in all a peaceful yet historical place to visit and well maintained by the Zhongshan Garden Administration.

Qi Jiang is the name of a river. Jiang means river in Chinese. So Qi Jiang Park is a park by the river. It has been greatly improved in recent years on both sides of the river, with removal of old houses and and redoing of the park. Modern bridges are put in and new LED lightings, new roads, cruises, sculptures, and playgrounds are now available in this area for the local people, as well as the tourists to enjoy. The walking streets with no cars are allowed are the best shopping area close by.

This is a small park on the grounds of an old shipyard. The shipyard is long gone but several old buildings, structures and items from the shipyard are still there integrated into the landscape. The park is well designed and maintained.

From the park there is an opportunity to go on a boat trip along the river. At the pier, there is a small restaurant with a terrace, good for a drink. A starbucks is across the road inside the Sheraton hotel.

I would not travel for it but if you are in the area, it is worth a visit.

This used to be an old shipyard/industrial site converted to a park. There's an old boat and the skeletons of some old buildings, but nothing of interest.

It's the life and art.
I think it's so unique, as it was originally a shipyard.
The excellent leave many elements of the shipyards and they are in the proper places of this part.
Each equipment has it's story, it tells people their past.
You can touch and feel.
You can see many plants there, fishing, taking boat. Tracks wind in the trees.
A pretty nice place for family walking.
You can also invite your friends and have a good time there.

This is a very centrally located rather new park with various buildings, bridges, fishing area and an art gallery well worth a shorter or little longer visit. Specially good for children.

Once a ship building yard, now a converted pleasant park and museum, where one can safely enjoy an evening stroll. Some fisherman line one part of the park.

This park is kind of small and is in the middle of the city. Walking distance from Zhongshan international hotel. According to what I learnt, this used to be an old ship building yard (in WWII era). Entrance is free of charge. Park is well maintained, calm and quiet. Did not notice any food outlets and other activities.
