Talks a big Talk

The Eco Park is anything but ecological. Not much there to experience. The "Zoo" portion has barely ANY animals. It's just a bunch of empty corrals scattered with the few animals here and there (pigs, goats, squirrels, turtles, peacocks). One can only surmise that either the animals couldn't be kept alive or they realised they couldn't take proper care of them (I'm leaning on the latter). There is a children's play area which of course any children would feel excited about, but other than that it's quite boring. Not much else to do or see. I'm originally from Orlando, Florida so I'll admit that I'm quite spoilt when it comes to attractions, but the advertisements for this park are false. I wouldn't waste my time if I were you.

Very mean security guard outside the main gate
Apr 2018 • Family
He allowed various visitors loading/unloading outside the main gate. But he refused to let a group of people including elderly and baby do the same. He claimed it wasn’t a passenger loading zone. But why he allowed others to do so? When people argued, he yelled and threatened them. Oh man !

Pretty Lame
Jan 2018 • Family
The website says that there is the longest mountain bike trail in Asia! and you can rent bikes. Wow, amazing. BUT it doesn't exist. No one knew what we talking about. The only bikes you can rent are ones to ride around the small park with. The park itself is so outdated. A small area with sad animals, a small garden area, some tennis courts. If you are going here for an event (like British Days) then it is fine. To go here just on your own? Well if you are bored I guess. :)

Just a small park

Could be nice with cherry blossoms, but out of that, it is just a place with few attractions. If you are in the area, you may visit. But do not specially go there.

Cherry Blossoms at Mission Hills Sport and Eco Park!
Jan 2017 • Family
We went to Mission Hills to purchase the Cherry Blossom Spring Festival tickets. We ended up visiting the Sports and Eco Park where the festival will be held. Since they are already preparing for it, we were also able to see a preview of what is going to happen. The re-planted Cherry Blossoms were already blooming the day we came. There was a huge playground for the kids and a lot of stuff to do. You can stay here the whole day, bring food and have a picnic. You can find an amusement park, a mini zoo, a lake, a tennis court, play area and etc. There is also a mall right across the park. This park is not free. There is an entrance fee. See photos for reference.

How to commute to Mission Hills:
Qinghu station (last station of the red line) exit B or C
Take bus M338 (Qinghu will be the first station of this bus) and alight at the Gao Er FU QuiChang (golf course) stop.

Note: A Metro stop is currently under construction in the area as Mission Hills will have its own stop soon. For the meantime, you won't see any bus stops because they are covered with temporary wall but you will see that the buses stop right across the mall and the other way around when going back.

Visited this as part of a school trip. Had a great day. Tennis courts. Biking. Archery. Adventure play area. And for thr kids there's football. Triking. Playground etc. Snack bars and drinks.

This is an eco park so many sculptures made from old materials.
