Shenzhen Afternoon Private Tour of Huaqiangbei Shopping and Dance Shows

1 review
Shenzhen is China’s answer to Silicon Valley—but, unless you speak Chinese, Huaqiangbei’s welter of retail outlets is just bewildering. Head straight to the products you want with the help of your private guide, then unwind at Splendid China, Shenzhen’s original cultural theme park. Tour miniature villages, watch two spectacular dance shows, and feast on a Chinese dinner. Your package includes door-to-door round-trip private transfers.

If you like Guangdong or Hong Kong flavored seafood. You should not miss this street. The tastes are nearly the same but the price are half a price cheaper. Good value, fresh Lobster and Abalone. Just grab a taxi. It located in the center. We enjoyed family dinner.

Walked to this area and although my map was not accurate and yahoo maps even worse we found it in the end with help of a few locals. No one at the 3 busiest places spoke English at all which makes ordering a real challenge. Thankfully there was 1 couple just finishing their dinner and while he was Australian, she was Chinese and agreed to assist us with the ordering if our dinner. The seafood was very fresh and tasty. Worth every difficulty we had getting here. Unless you have an accurate map (Not Bing, Yahoo, or local tourist map), or a local to guide you I strongly suggest allowing 2 hours to walk from the Dongmen Shopping area so you can just get lost again and again wandering the streets or take a taxi :) Once I ditched the map, had my bearings and finished dinner, it was a 40 min walk from here to the Holiday Inn Express on the other side of Dongmen Shopping area!

In Leyuan Street , 10-15 mins walk away from Hubei Metro station, there are many seafood restaurants gathered here on both sides of the street. Most restaurants display live fishes, prawns, clams and many more items, in rolls of water tanks for customer's pick. The live seafood will then be cooked to customer's preference or on restaurant's recommendation. Pricewise is inexpensive , food is delicious but service is average as business is very good due to the crowd.. There are both indoor air-condition seating and outdoor street seating. This place is alive during dinner time. It is recommended to take a stroll thru the stretch of street before deciding which restaurants to pick.
