We were visitng a friend in Shenzhen and she suggested coming here. It is packed full of small eateries, featuring dishes from all parts of China, ss well as Tsui Wah from Hong Kong. It is also a shopper's paradise, but don't expect original highend brand names here. There are a number of malls, with different sections selling items like... More

This place has an nice vibe. Although, I personally found nothing to buy, my mum bought a decent cabin luggage. Lots of fresh fruit to be had. Go early to beat the crowds. It's a maze, and you'll get tours showing you where the fakes merchandise is sold. Luoho commercial city is better for that.

I frequented this place almost every weekend during my stay in Shenzhen. It is always packed and is almost scary to jump into if you're not use to crowded areas. The shopping is done in semi-underground halls that are cramped together with merchandise hanging every which way. It is imperative that you know how to haggle in these places or... More

I don't say you necessarily will enjoy this, but its necessary to understand how China looks like. I mean the posh malls and most of the other shopping centers in Shenzhen aren't like China. They are from and for weathly few chinese and the expats. But Dongmen pedestrian area is where normal Chinese people spending there free time. It's loud,... More

When you walked into this food street, people are as many as you are difficult to pass by. Stalls selling different foods such as chicken wing, pork leg, squid, shell, chicken chop and many more. Here are the best choice for eating when you come to Dongmen.

You name it, you got it. Everything you would like to have is there. You might be too tempted to go on a frenzy. If you got space and money, do it. This is a place that would make the original look duller than the copy. Good food around too.
