This is Shenzhen's major underground shopping mall at its bustling city center. Beneath some of the city's best hotels and busiest metro stations comes this expansive tunnel of boutiques and restaurants. It is an excellent option to escape scorching sun or unbearable rainstorm in summer.

We walked out of Shangri-La Futian straight into the entrance of this connecting underground maze; it was empty above ground voids of pedestrians on a Saturday afternoon, yet the underground was full of shoppers. We had some Hong Kong style dishes as lunch, returned to our hotel to enjoy the light show at the Horizon lounges then returned to the underground mall to dine on some noodles and had some desserts; all were relatively cheap and reasonable. You could spend the entire afternoon here, shopping, eating or having some coffee at the outdoor patio, where people were enjoying their afternoon with coffee and cigarettes along with some lively conversation. Overall, I like this underground mall; modern, clean and connected to the subway as well.

Lots of Chinese dining options and access to three metro stations. You can walk underground from Ganxia to Convention and Exhibition Center and then to Shopping Park. You can access adjacent malls on the way, see fountains and vending machines, and stay dry if it is raining. Lots of entrances and exits at intersections along the way.

Not only do they have the best metro system I have ever travelled on you can also walk underground for a major part of the city centre. Walkways with a huge variety of restaurants and stores and all of this linking into the major shopping malls. This is excellent for walking when its too hot or too wet at street level, the walkways are also air-conditioned. Another great achievement for Shenzhen.

This is a long underground corridor that stretches from CocoPark to HuangTing Plaza and CentralWalk first and then stretches again to Gangxia. It's 1.5Km long and as it's air conditioned it allows you to go to different places of FuTian CBD by walk without having to suffer from scorching weather. Lots of shops and restaurants choice.

As others have mentioned, it connects 3 metro stops so you can imagine the length of this 'indoor street' which is lined with many boutique shops as well as plenty of restaurants.

It's also very clean, unlike a number of underground markets/walkways that you find in China

Good for a hot/rainy day

Lots of stores: Miniso, Watsons, 7 Eleven.. .and much more.
Best thing is that it connects 3 MTR stations without traffic or weather affecting your journey.

Went for a look and as always big shopping centre with lots of shops. Again you can dis over little market areas under and around this location. Easy to get there by subway.

To me, this is an access pathway connecting several metro. There are shops and restaurants along the way. Perfect if you want to rack up exercise instead of taking the metro
