This water show is located in OCT Harbour. The harbour is open everyday but the water show not available on Monday. Other review said the nearest metro station is Qiaocheng East. Actually the easiest way to come here is to take LINE 9, stop at Shenzhen Bay Park station. The OCT Harbour will be just outside the metro station, Exit E.

This is the best water show I have ever seen. Its situated in OCT harbour will cost you 140 RMB for General Category. If you go early you will get best place to sit and watch the show. Its a bliss for shutterbugs who wants to try various angles on flowing water. Make sure to operate in "No-Flash" mode.

The tickets are available in different prices of 140RMB, 200RMB and 300RMB. Theater was 60% on the night of Saturday, saw many tour operators coming by bus in large numbers. Show starts at 8 PM with singing, little comedy and later the performance all in Mandarin only. For a non chines it is not possible to understand the commentary yet the performance is wonderful, magical, with surprises and good treat to your eyes for about 45 minutes. This show happens in a open air theater, so please check the weather before you buy tickets. Since its open air, you can also watch this show from behind from a long distance in and around OCT harbor like Bar street or the Marriott hotel.
I wouldn't say it a must see or unique show, especially if you watched such shows before. For sure children will enjoy a lot and elders too. Little expense on the pocket.

To ensure that we get tickets for the water show on Sunday, we reached OCT Bay around 6 pm. If you don't speak Chinese, make sure you take taxi to this place (show chinese address to the taxi driver). The OCT Bay neighborhood is very scenic and has been created as a place to dine, drink and spend family time next to lake.

We went to OCT Bay Visitor Information Centre to buy the tickets. The tickets here are sold at 20% discount on the listed price. Tickets are listed at RMB 300, 200 and 150. After purchasing the tickets, we spent time around the lake and O'Plaza mall closeby. Watching the sun set was also great experience sitting next to the lake.

We reached the show around 7:45 pm - about 15 mins before the show starts. The language of the show is Chinese, however, audience can look at the ticker for English commentary. The show starts with display of a moon and the effect is amazing. This is followed by water fountains with display of animation and live performances from artists. The show also has awesome laser effects and some good acts. The finale is really amazing with fireworks.

My kids loved the show and so did I. If you are in Shenzhen, do not miss this show. Its an enjoyable experience.

It's a combination of water and ligh effects. Ticket cost 80CNY you can buy in te ticketing counter inside the Shenzen Tourist Information in front of the IMAX Cinema in OCT Bay. Show will start exactly 8PM and 15 minutues before they have fountain show so if you wanna watch go there earlier. The venue is in Water Show Teater you can find the way near to Starbucks just nearby to the place of ticketing. Language in the show is Chinese but of course we focus on the water and light show so didn't notice about the language 😂 Btw it's an open air teater so if it's raining they stop the show. It's good for all ages :)

I found this short show to be highly entertaining. It's a great place to take children. It lasts for approximately 40 minutes. The show has English subtitles and a lot of the songs are in English so it is easy to follow the story line. If you set in the first couple of rows you might get sprayed with water.

Great experience for young and old. English translation on a screen help you understand the story behind the show.

I had very low expectations when a local colleague said 'let's take the clients to see the water show' at OCT. I was expecting the fountains outside the Bellagio in Vegas or the ones in Burj Lake in Dubai Mall. This was completely different - there was a storyline, choreography, clowns for the kids and an environmental story all tied in together. I will gladly watch it again, and it's a perfect distraction before going for dinner at one of the restaurants at OCT.

Tickets are sold in the building next to the fountains - and we bought ours less than 30 minutes before the show started, and still got great seats. The view is excellent, with a couple of hotels in the far background. Seating is arena style, with numbered seating and everyone was sat in the right place - you did not get the feeling that this was going to be a seat grabbing exercise. It is outdoors so do try to pick a clear night that is not too cold.

The show was the perfect length for both kids and adults. There was lights, lasers and of course water. There were clowns and dancers, beautiful music and choreography. They complimented all this with projected animation, and even drones! The drones were the highlights for our techie clients.

After the show, evacuation was done in an orderly fashion - the exit emptied out into the general OCT area where all the restaurants are. It was great for visiting clients and gave some interesting background on Shenzhen, which is of course built on the mangrove swamps that are featured in the show.

Me and couple of friends went to check this out and we loved it! The production is mind-blowing: dancers, lights, water and fireworks - all combined in a nice story. It is a bit childish at moments but still the effects can be enjoyed by all ages. I warmly recommend for anyone to see it, but especially if you have kids. It starts at 8pm and the price for a normal ticket is 140 yuan. Totally worth it!
