Wonderful garden and walk on bay side, very well maintained. It has many things to explore.
You can see wonderful Shenzhen skyline and also sea link bridge.
It has lots of mangroves and can see lots of birds around.

Shenzhen bay park is a wonderful oasis in the middle of a bustling city................providing you do not go there on a weekend or a public holiday.
I have done both. During the week, it is a wonderfully attractive waterfront park with the possibility to walk for many kilometres. Ample places to take nice pictures of flowers, trees, birds etc, and well built hills protect you from most of the noise from the nearby roads.
However, if you go during the weekend, or even worse on a public holiday, once you have managed to get onto a pathway, be prepared to shuffle at the speed of the crowd!
Nightime views of both the city of Shenzhen and distant Hong Kong are wonderful.

One of the best parks in Shenzhen. Beautiful, clean, full of greenery and an amazing scenery specially during the night.

We only walked 6 km of the bay, so much to see with views of Hong Kong, Futian downtown and the wider bay, lots of activity from locals and foreigners but plenty of space, difficult to imagine this is part of a such a huge city.

Very clean and organised. Not people on the pathway selling things. But when I went there I could see any place to buy a drink or have light snack ....
Nice view of the Shenzhen skyline if you walk from the bridge that connects to Hong Kong. But you do have to walk for a while though.
Keep walking and you come to the skyline and from there you ca find boutique shops and restaurants. Nice man-made like too, with lots fish and birds.
I guess the best time to visit is not in summer.

Excellent park along the bay, with very well maintained facilities and toilets. Very well cleaned, and able to see some great flora, fauna and animals/birds.

I live and work in Shenzhen and love the boardwalk along the bay. My family rides bikes on it, walks it, and plays at the sports park area. It is definitely a huge part of making Shekou feel like home.

Remember!
The best thig you can do before going somwhere in Shenzhen is to make sure you took enough water... i like long-distance walks but this one started before i get in the park exactly ;)

This is a beautiful park along Shenzhen Bay stretching from Shekou Port to Futian ( 13 kilometres of well maintained green areas.) Some areas are not open for biking during the weekends. There are small beaches for kids to wade and go fishing. There is a fantastic view of Hong Kong across the bay. This is a not to be missed area if you love strolling along the water. If you go early in the morning or evening you can see older folks dancing, practicing martial arts or calligraphy.

What entrance or point is best to begin at? We are hoping to walk through the park but our map shows several points and we aren’t sure where to start.

You are right about many entrances. But it depends on where you are heading to. We usually go with the entrance C and you can have fun along the way

Not for my knowledge, but I am not 100% sure. What I surely know is, they do have adult tandem bikes with a built in children seat.
