At the 2018 Global Tea Fair held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Centre (Futian District), I learned a lot about the many different types of tea. I also got to taste all kinds of tea. Of the teas sampled, I most liked Pu'er Tea (like red or black tea) and flower tea. At 540 metres by 282 metres in ground area covered by the building, it is the largest building structure in Shenzhen.

There are many large conventions centers around he world and China is no exception. SZ Conventions and Exhibitions center have a lot of space but lack some of the organizations skills you as an experienced exhibitions visitor and/or exhibitor. The most redeeming quality is the scenic surroundings with plenty of nice architecture. Several hotels are nearby so no need to stay in downtown SZ. However, as usual in Chine cutting queues is common so don't expect western queuing culture

This is an IMMENSE place with 9 separate exhibition halls. Longer than 1 kilometer. Imagen for 3 days walking up and down the miriad isles to see everyexhibitor. Talk to the one's who has interesting products or some new innovation.
These meetings are normally followed up by a visit to the seller's factory.
I have come accross many fantastic new products in the past 10 years visiting here and in Hong Kong Airport anfd Harbour Vew Exhibit Centers.
In order to succeed, make detailed plans whom, when and how will you meet, how much time to spend with each and then go on explore.....

Visited to attend CIOE-2014 exhibition...Found the place quite good & big.... Only suggestion to the convention center is to open some food plaza/refreshment place which can offer Veg. food... As I found major problem to find veg food....

We had our convention here and it was huge with multiple conventions happening at the same time! The place is really impressive.

Was there for in end Feb for their AAITF 2018 convention and was awe by the size of it.
I almost covered all their pavilions which there is almost 8-10 of it if I recalled and it is as big as a football field in each of the pavilions.
The only setback is there isn't much sittings for their foodstalls which is located open air between the buildings.
Even their surroundings are with all high rise buildings which makes it even better for photos...

LOTS TO SEE, Lots of walking. Not too relevant to my needs. Mostly manufacturing of items not in my vbenu. Facility was HUGE, Very nice . Personal there were very helpful.

Don't bother with what's on the inside - empty space - but come and see the stunning architecture of the outside. Even by modern China's amazing architecture, this is awe inspiring and well worth seeing.

The best thing about this exhibition center is that you can look for the lifts at the 2nd floor, in the middle part of the exhibition center. Then you find a lift that can take you up to the 5th floor. Then go outside and you'll be able to have a very good view on FuTian CBD, you can walk all around the building. Great place to take pictures. I'm not sure if we're allowed but I've never been kicked out. When you pass by people who work here, just walk your way without looking lost :)

How far away is the Train immigration point in China from the exhibition centre please?
Or is it easier to catch the ferry to get closer to the centre?
Sorry a bit vague... Traveling from Hong Kong into China for a trade show..thx
