A hidden gem

This park was next to my hotel, so I ventured there once day without a lot of expectations. Turns our it is somewhat of a hidden gem. Very relaxed and very green, with one half being occupied by a great green lawn and the rest covered in many trees with nice sitting areas in the shade. I was also delighted to discover, after five years of living in Beijing, that the people of Shenzhen actually believe that a lawn is to be enjoyed by walking over it, doing exercise or picnics rather than just looking at it behind a fence as is the case with Beijing's park. I would not necessarily travel specifically to this place as it is a more local park rather than a major tourist attraction but if you're in the area and are looking for a peaceful place - this is it.

A decent little park

My running club took us through this park last week. China has a lot of nice parks across the country, and this is one of them. A quiet place to relax and get away from the daily rush of the city, there are plenty of places for you to chill out.

Nice warm park) Nov 2012

Wonderful! Truly wonderful! The big globe in the middle of the park alongside with all the beautiful flowers and trees blossomed, it's certainly one of my favourite places.

Worth a visit.

Quite easy to find from the metro. Exit a. Big park lots to see. Statues and trees various plants. Huge wide open space where people fly kites and have picnics. Would be brilliant on a spring day. The directions in the park could be better and the toilets were bad. All in all a good Sunday morning

Decent park near SZ Univ.

This park is not too big, but not bad for an afternoon stroll. There are some interesting sculptures scattered throughout.

Good park

Very close to Zhongshang Park. It is also a great park, with a lot of green areas. Huge gardens get crowded on weekends with familys, kids playing around, a bunch of kites in the air.. great atmosphere there.
