Worth a visit if in the area

I was in the area and it was within walking distance. Glad I went very old architecture and streets. Nice museums. Very busy streets of traditional china. Good afternoon

Nice to see the old city gate. Many of the historic buildings have been demolished, but the hutong culture here is still thriving. We found a tasty Chongqing takeaway. This links to Zhongshan Park, which is great for a peaceful stroll, or check out the fairground.

This place is worth a visit if you like historical attractions. There is a nice little temple at the entrance near the pedestrian overpass. Walking up the street doesn't take long, but there are some preserved small buildings with some history you can tour. I believe one of them is a former opium den (I can't read Chinese, so I'm... More
