We arrived in Xichong Beach on a rainy day.

I like sunny days but I don't like rainy days. Fortunately, the weather is warm. Sea water is relatively clean, so, overall is a good experience.

I've seen this beach beautiful and welcoming on a Friday evening. Turquoise water, just enough surf and clean sands. I visited again on a Sunday afternoon and it was disgusting - I couldn't believe it was the same beach. Trash everywhere and at least 3 dozen pigs feet washed up!!! Needless to say I didn't get in the water and... More

We took a van from Nan Ao Main Station sharing with a little family at 10rmb per person. Upon arriving at our cabins and checking in we ran down to the sea. So many people and a lot of garbage, however for China it wasnt bad at all. The beach is really long and there is a lot to do... More

The best time get there is on Friday night for check in the local hotel , on Saturday and Sunday, you will hit a lot of traffic on the road ! The beach is about 6 miles long with the most clean sea water from the big ocean , enjoy the different foods from the local restaurants or you can... More

Came on a work trip. Quite difficult to get to without a coach or bus as it's about 45 mins outside of xiaomeisha. Lovely sand beach. Not too busy. Can get a shaded tent area for 200 per hour. Beach was quite clean. Got a speedboat to Lovers Island which is about 5 mins away. Worth a hike to thr... More

First problem is the inconvenience of going from Futian. You need to pick a few buses to get there and it takes about 2 hrs to reach. The second is the amount of people there in summer... which implies lots of trash and little space to swim. Plastic bags in the wáter, disposable plastic cups... Either go very early or... More

was a long journey to get there but was greeted by a long beach without many tourists. Plenty of eateries to choose from serving fresh seafood and local fare.

We Hike from DongChong to Xichong! amazing views! When we arrive to Xichong we found a beautiful beach, little bit crowded, but cheap hotel and showers!

I came here with a group of mates for a long weekend. We camped out on the beach and it was packed. It was fun because of the people I was with. I strongly suggest getting up early to watch the sun come up. Beautiful.
