Shenzhen Afternoon Private Tour of Huaqiangbei Shopping and Dance Shows

1 review
Shenzhen is China’s answer to Silicon Valley—but, unless you speak Chinese, Huaqiangbei’s welter of retail outlets is just bewildering. Head straight to the products you want with the help of your private guide, then unwind at Splendid China, Shenzhen’s original cultural theme park. Tour miniature villages, watch two spectacular dance shows, and feast on a Chinese dinner. Your package includes door-to-door round-trip private transfers.

We had to walk all the way to the end of Honghu Park (which is quite a huge park) to see the walls. There are some at the right side and some at the left side of the park where a large lotus lake is located in between. This is the side of the park where you can find serenity. One can just sit down and appreciate art while hearing the birds chirping and the water flowing at the creek side. To get here, we took the 357 bus from Longgang which will stop at the park entrance. You can also take bus numbers, 366 and 309 (which we took going home). Another option is via subway though you'd have to walk for a couple of minutes to reach the park entrance. Take the Longgang line to Shuibei station Exit B. If you want to ask around, ask at the police kiosk and tell them that you want to go to Honghu Gong Yuan. You have to say the park's name in Mandarin as they won't understand you if you just say "Honghu Park". When you get inside the park and you need to ask where the graffiti wall is located, ask the police at the entrance by showing them the photos of the graffiti walls. I think that's easier than trying to explain "graffiti" in Mandarin. There is no official name for the walls, thus, you won't find them in the maps. There are several entrances to the park but the main entrance is where the buses stop. Should you encounter problems with commuting, you can always take a cab or go by Uber.

This is at the back of honghu park on a long stretch of wall near a canal. I really enjoyed it because it's great to see street art in shenzhen as I have not seen it before. I walked the wall and enjoyed the skills involved. It added to the park experience. Combine with honghu for a good day
