About
Located at the base of Big Nanshan Mountain, Evergreen Resort is as much about enjoying stunning scenery as it is about offering family-friendly activities. The emphasis here is on the environment and educational fun, and though there are no rides, kid’s won’t be bored thanks to a butterfly park, an interactive rain forest (bring an umbrella), and an Amazon fish display.

Nice park in Shekou
Sep 2021 • Couples
Very nice, very simple park... We came during the week and there was not many people... It seems as of lately there has not been many visitors as you can see some of the upkeep is missing.

Surprisingly Entertaining Day Out
Apr 2017 • Family
We took our two young kids (4 and 6) here for a day out. One highlight was the ropes playground which our 6 year old loved messing round on for a good hour or so. Younger kids would find it a challenge, but any kids up to 10 would get something out of it.

The rainforest area with lots of concrete dinosaurs is well done. Any young dinosaur lover would enjoy the experience.

There are lots of eco pieces to chat about, from a small butterfly farm, a little field with vegetables, some bugs such as scorpions and peacocks.

Plenty to keep younger kids entertained and worth a day out.

Just avoid the two weeks around Easter. It seems this is the time all the schools go on field trips. The little show, a local stompish production has probably not played to a bigger crowd with hundreds and hundreds of excited primary kids in the audience.

Good experience but not foreigner friendly
Apr 2017 • Family
Stayed at this place for 2 nights, we had booked a deluxe log cabin and the room was good, clean! The toilet was leaky and could have been better. The park offers great choice of activities and attractions to visit. The environment is good especially if you are in log cabin area. Most of the Staff didn't speak English at all. Dinner and breakfast at garden restaurant was good! Stay away from their western restaurant, it's a pile of junk that doesn't understand concept of service and their attitude is terrible in terms of delivering food of your choice (from the menu). Got my order wrong twice, were refusing to serve us stating long wait times and that they had only one cook! That is the only negative experience to share, apart from that we had a great time!

Didn't expect to enjoy that much that place!
May 2016 • Family
I have to admit I only knew Shenzhen with buildings everywhere but this time, with our 2 young kids, we discovered a nice side of the city! The park is big enough and ideally located to really feel cut from all the urban area, there are nice playgrounds, themed areas (amazon with interesting paths going up and down, pottery house, butterfly zone, peacocks, farming, etc...). We were lucky to enjoy it under a sunny day, it is convenient that the alleys are under shade, and at the end, kids could enjoy the waterfall and play with small fountains.
We ate at the restaurant that is just near the hotel (with swimming pool), up the stairs. Environment and food were OK for a 1-day trip like that (better to opt for plain noodles in soup with corn as the cooked meat looked like being there for ages). Toilets were clean.
Overall a very enjoyable afternoon!
Entrance fee is 60rmb for adults, free for kids under 1.2m.

Fun filled unique attraction
Feb 2016 • Couples
This is what I would describe as an eco park. It covers a vast area and has many areas. There is a rainforest area which is really cool and pottery area with unique designs. Peacocks and other birds. Many statues and centerpieces made from recycled materials. If you take children there's a great park area with physical games to play. Also hike to the top of the mountain for great views. I really enjoyed the day.
There's also a butterfly enclosure and the biggest fish from the Amazon you'll ever see

Get the 369 bus cost was 60 rmb.

Toilets were clean and numerous.
Snacks are what you expect

Needs lots of work!
Apr 2015 • Family
The park is in need of a lot of maintenance work! It has lots of litter in some of the attractions that distract from their appeal. Their traffic control for getting large groups in and out of the park needs to be evaluated and improved. Large numbers of school children fill the park way above what the parks capacity should be, making it dangerous. Chinese children do not use the restrooms and go anywhere when they have to relieve themselves. On a positive note the pottery barn is a haven away from the large crowds. This was my second visit to the park and I will not go back for a third.

Average for a paid park
Nov 2014 • Couples
The park is not very well kept, which is disappointing for a place that charges admission (60rmb). There are tons of kids running around on the weekend. The butterfly house is nice, but too many people inside grab the butterflies. The amazon fish are cool, but there are too many of them in too small a tank. It's very sad seeing really cool fish like arapaima in a small, dirty tank.

Good but not great
Oct 2013 • Friends
I found this to be an interesting place but I wouldn't spend more than a few hours here. There are different zones that have different sights as the other reviewers have said. There are some large amazon fish that were cool, maybe my favorite part of the park. Its not super clean or super well-maintained just average in my opinion. Lots of families and children here when we visited, it was super crowed by the time we left around noon. I believe it cost 60RMB per person, not sure how much kids cost. You can take some buses from Window of the World to get there, 369 and 42 I believe.
