The beach was very good sandy beach but it was extremely crowded on weekend. even the water was dirty and hot because of the crowd. so if you want to enjoy the beach visit there on weekdays.

If you want to swim in Shenzhen, go here. Great beach, good eating. But be aware; most Chinese cannot swim, they just watch (you).

I went there several times. I have stayed in te kingkey hotel twice, the hotel is great and comfortable and the beds are really awsome. The only thing is that they don’t have the private beach, so you have to go to the public beach...More

I went on a weekday in Dec and it's still crowded! It's a lovely beach to walk around or just lounge in the sun. You can also get a coconut or some souvenirs. For food, skip the expensive restaurants and walk a bit further to...More

If you want the best experience go during the week when its not a public holiday. The water in mid-September was still quite warm. Wear lots of sunscreen and apply regularly.

The main beach area was quite crowded so we went to the marina for lunch and then took a boat out, which was nice.

This is Shenzhen’s longest (length of 1.1 miles) and most beautiful, sandy beaches. Dameisha is a beautiful area with the sea and beaches on one side, and mountains on the other. It is located in the Yantian district, of Shenzhen. The water clarity and quality...More

The escape applies to midweek and not in local holiday periods. "Big Beach" offers clean sand and the ocean. Although the water can be a bit cool, it is a great relief from the heat and humidity of the city. Suprising to find a sandy...More

Doesn't matter. You'll need a taxi, Didi ride or Uber to get there from the metro. I recommend Didi. If you take a cab it'll probably cost a lot more.

Take the metro in Shenzhen. Line 1 to grand theater, exchange lines to line 2 (xinxui) and get off at Huangbeiling.
