Famous "Swiss mountain" theme park and resort in Shenzhen. Even...

Famous "Swiss mountain" theme park and resort in Shenzhen. Even if you are not into theme parks, this one is not to be missed. Visually stunning, OCT East has been called the “Universal Studios of China” and offers rides, golf, magic shows, luxury hotels, restaurants, spas, and—believe it or not—a scenic Swiss village. Nobody does theme parks like China! Plan to spend most of your day here (though you could spend a week).

Noted in Time Magazine 29 November 2007 (opened 7 November 2007).

OCT is another one of the tourist attractions I've been to so many times that I've lost count. Knight Valley is where all the ride are and for people who are looking for a more tranquil tour visiting the Tea Stream Valley is more scenic with flowers and tea fields.

The park itself is very good, if a little lacking in actual rides, but the scenery and range of activities more than make up for it. We went on some of the rides (the wooden roller coaster is great fun, but the queues can be very long) and took the cable car up the top for the views of the... More

Amazing place for all people to visit, the Tea show is a must must see. The view from the top deck is mesmerizing a nice place to take pics.

We had two-day tickets from hotel booking which was a good offer. We did not spend a lot of time in the site seeing Tea park. Just a quick walk and straight to the interchange little train ride to the playful theme park. There are lots of rides. The best experience was Deep Sea Adventure 3D movie which was the... More

This could be a fantastic weekend or few days leave. Nevertheless, October to March could be the right time because of the climate hot condition.

We went to dinner in the restaurant which is on the ground floor of the OCT shopping mall The service was very good. They do NOT speak English. We ordered Shrimps, beef , fish and more. The cooking is mixed Chinese Thai and was excellent . Which was a surprise. Very very clean, well designed surrounding . Highly recommended. I... More
