Looks cool, but way to expensive
Jul 2018 • Couples
It quite expensive ¥200 or $30 usd per person to look around this art library. The front desk staff spoke no English and wasn’t very helpful.
You can use the value of your entrance ticket to get noodles at the cafeteria.

30 foot tall art book display; interesting architecture
Aug 2017 • Friends
This place is hard to describe. It is a new building, with exceptionally interesting interior architecture. The ground floor has a small shop and has a display of photography books, mostly very large scale. There was an incredible Salgado book that was about two feet tall with amazing photographs. You then walk into the museum proper, where you see a huge tall wall filled with art books of all sorts. And there are books on display that you can look at. Each book has a white glove near it so that you don't soil the pages. You walk up a set of blond stairs and as you walk you get different interior vistas. At each level there is more to see. On the top floor there is a small art gallery, another small shop, and a series of rooms like small libraries with comfortable looking furniture. Six of us - two Americans, one Korean-American, one Korean student, and two Chinese students - spent about two hours, constantly exclaiming about one or another aspect of the building and its contents. Artron is the name of a business dealing in photography. But this library-cum-museum does not feel at all like a business. Highly recommended. The entrance fee isn't cheap, but it includes - daffily - some coupons that you can use if you decide to buy something.
