It's very beautiful, 18 km path for cycling around d lake, fell in love with the place, it's very quiet and peaceful place, very broad track for cycling , no entry fee, 2n1/2 hour drive from Guangzhou. There is a resort too if u plan to stay overnight. Would love to go again

As a runner and soon-to-be triathlete I couldn't get my mind off of how great a training area Honghua would be. It has an 18K loop around the lake which provides separate cycling and running areas. Given the bike traffic, having the separated decked walking/running area is a nice bonus. There also appear to be a variety of trails up... More

A large area.u can ride a bike or climb the mountains.if the weather was goood,riding the bike on the way for 18 km or step to top of the mountain watching the view.u can enjoy yourself there.

It was a part of Greenway (means bicycle path) of Guangdong Province. If you have been to a popular resort——Da Fu Mountain in Guangzhou, but thought there are too many visiters and bicycles, it wil be a wonderful place for who loved peaceful resort. The lake is a very nice walk but there are many serious cyclist there, so I would say that the facilities seem to be mainly designed to provide a rather perfect track for cyclists to encourage a healthy lifestyle in Huizhou.

beautiful and peaceful spot,rent a bicycle and do the 18 km trip around the lake,very easy also for untrained people,full of places to rest and picnic.
