I went to the park early on a Sunday morning. Many of the locals were there for Taichi and dancing. It is a small park, but worth visiting. It is a five minute taxi ride from the Wanda Vista Hotel. A relaxing way to start the day. There is nothing particularky soecial about the park, but if you are in Dongguan for a few day put it on your list of places to visit!

Although bordering a main road, when inside there's space to escape the constant sound of traffic. Plenty of greenery and water features. Several paths meander around the perimeter and over the small hilly interior the highlight of which seems to be the anti-Japanese pavilion, a MIG fighter jet and a pit containing a few macaques. There is an area of children's theme park rides including a merry-go-round and miniture train (sadly all closed). Open attractions include two boating lakes, places for goldfish feeding and a place to catch them too, a chamber of horrors and sea-life center (don't expect too much tho'). Some hawker snacks for sale too and, to round off your trip, visit the acupuncture master near the south-west gate.
