This aquarium is pretty overpriced for what it contains. The locals and groups of schoolkids seemed to really enjoy it, but compared to aquariums in much larger cities, this one isn't anything special.

Admission price is a little steep, the place is not really well-maintained, but there's quite a decent variety of fish and aquatic creatures to see, including one of those conveyor belt glass tunnels with sharks and other big fish swimming overhead. At the time of my visit they also had a very large complete whale skeleton on display.

I expected that I would really go underwater since the attration is on island. Unfortunately it is more like artificial musuem that gives you feel of underwater but it certainly does not worth the entry fee they are charging, RMB 90.

For the first time , i went to such kind of underwater world . Loved it . you can see the dolphin show, the walrus show and the best part the under water walk , where entire water world would be above you in all dimensions

While there were some interesting sights in the XUW, the Sea Lion show was horrible. Sardines couldn't be packed any tighter, and at the 90 RMB price, there are much nicer things to see. But, then I'm a world traveled adult. Children seemed to really have fun.
