Wanglongtai Park has a superb geographic location. It is located on Jiangbin Avenue where the tourists can enjoy the clear river water, expansive horizon, beautiful landscapes and amicable environment. It is so named because the legend says son of Wuzhu, king of Minyue Kingdom, caught a white dragon on a platform over the river.
Seen from the "Wangjing Platform" of the Park, the Min River is like a giant white dragon swimming eastward. The Park has many leisure facilities inside, including the fishing platform, leisure and ornamental corridor and beach volleyball court. Several tens of precious plant species are also grown here, including banyan, araucaria, cycas and China rose. The centennial "Sanbao Temple" is also located in the Park.
