Lovely and coll walking thru the gardens in the heat of summer. Interesting statues depicting historical events.From the top great views of the river and some of its history. this spot in the river was where the French attached the Chinese navy back in 1884. One of Fuzhou's oldest Banyan Tree is also in this Park.…

Luoxing Park is a good place in summer as it is cool and has amicable landscapes. Walk past the decorated archway and one will see the lush vegetations in the park, including some towering old banyan trees growing closely together, forming a green wall around the tall ancient tower. Walk up the helical stairways inside the tower to the top where the field of view suddenly widens to offer a panorama of the beautiful scenes on both banks of the Minjiang River and the magnificence of the port zone. According to the guide, Luoxing Tower is a world-recognized beacon and a landmark of the Minjiang River. It is honored as "Tower of China". There is also an ancient emplacement on both sides of the river bank. One can image the ancient battlefield of the China-France war and pay tributes to the martyrs at the Zhaozhong Hall.…
