Enjoy the serenity in the temple surrounded by lychee trees all over the entire area. One of a must see site whenever in Fuzhou. Entrance fee is RMB20 per person.

Really wonderful to see a fully working Buddhist temple. A very large site and a nice space in the middle of the city.

The temple is located in a quiet district that can be linked by public bus very easily. The entry fee is not that much.No many tourists in the temple. That was why the whole atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. The temple, the tower, the tiny lake and many lychee trees with red, big lychees. It was quite hot in Fuzhou in July.Drinking more water and the sun prevention are important. In the temple, There is someone who was going to check my face and tell me my destiny.I refused him without a moment‘s hesitation.

This is a very nice place to visit in the city, it has many temples inside with a big lake in the middle and many trees and benches to sit and relax. The entrance ticket is very cheap, only 20 CNY. It was the only place we have to pay for. All the attraction in the city are for free.

Although parts are very ancient, most of structures are relatively new...less than 25 years. Gardens and lakes are beautiful. Well worth climbing the stairs to the sixth level of the large temple and to walk arount the balconies on the 3rd and 5th floors. Views of Fuzhou are terrific. We spent 3 hours here and enjoyed the calm.

Visited in the low season, when it was a little cold & rainy, and this place was empty. The emptiness contributed to its decor, however, and this became one of my favorite temple visits ever.

It was a pretty huge area - we could've spent another hour or two exploring everything.

There was a 20 yuan entry fee, but I'm guessing that was to help with temple maintenance.

Great place to spend a day and learn something about Chinese history. There are plenty of English translated placards to help you understand what your looking at.

Many beggars and fortune tellers outside the entrance gate. Give at own discretion. Give one another will come.
-------------------------------------------------
I took a metered premium taxi from my hotel. 15RMB (within first 3km radius)
A quiet temple big compound the houses many Buddhist Buddhas in different halls. Entrance fee is 20RMB per person.
Lot of local came for praying. Walking from halls to halls give u a relaxed mood in a scared compound. Can see many old architectures built a long time ago.
Lychee trees are everywhere but don't eat it.

, like the location and surrounding, lots of place for photography, the gate charge should be 10 yuan for normal people instead of 20 ,, and 5 for student instead of 10. lots of temples and beautiful lake with lots of fish and turtles, easily reachable from the city centre by bus .

Very beautiful and peaceful place. Relaxing walking with your love. Ancient and colourful temples and lakes populated by goldfish and turtles. I recommend it.
