Nice place to relax
Feb 2019 • Couples
Went here in the Chinese New Year and it was full of people having lots of fun. The fountain in the middle was crowded and a good location to see people enjoying life. Lots of kites and people dancing. Behind this park is Yushanbei Porch and behind that is another climb to more sights to see and enjoy. good for a few hours out to relax.

Main City Square
Aug 2018 • Couples
Visit this square at night and you will be amazed at the dancing and singing. Small groups have their spots and you will see all types of Chinese dances. People stand around large screens with the words and sing. I loved it.

Nice square - nice photos can be taken here. Didn't manage to see flag raising or lowering due to timing. Will be good if manage to see.

Wuyi Square Park
Aug 2017 • Solo
As a landmark of Fuzhou, Wuyi Square Park is a place that you can't afford to miss. Historically the "Southern Drill Ground" where soldiers did their military drills in the Qing Dynasty, Wuyi Square Park was reconstructed into a political and cultural square for leisure, political and cultural purposes in the 1970s. A flag-raising ceremony is conducted here on the New Year's Day and the National Day and therefore it has a deep political and cultural nature. There is a music fountain in the middle of the Square and a group of white statues in the pool. Eight 5m-high dancing girls epitomize people who live happily together in eight regions of Fujian province. To the south of the music fountain is a large stainless statue of Fuzhou's city log "three mountains and one water" (epitomizing Yushan Mountain, Wushan Mountain, Pingshan Mountain and Min River).

The square is adjacent to the White Pagoda, and a Daoist Temple
Jul 2016 • Solo
I enjoyed wandering across the square to a coffee shop nearby. After that, you can walk up a small hill to see the White Pagoda, Daoist Temple, and a memorial to the 1911 revolution that changed China

Centre of Fuzhou
Jun 2016 • Family
A square in the centre of Fuzhou. People congregate here in the evenings for dancing and in the mornings for exercise. There is a fountain here as well as a statue of Chairman Mao.

Mid Size Square
Feb 2016 • Couples
Our room faces the square, in the mornings people do their exercises and by evening, the locals gather and do their dancing here. Since it was the Spring festival, there were loads of picture takers, us included. It is just another square, nothing to rave about

During Chinese New Year
Feb 2016 • Couples
They change the decorations periodically so when we went it was for the new year. It was beautiful. The park is full of families with little kids setting off fireworks, playing with toys. However, it was stills romantic stroll for two. Very clean park itself but public restrooms not so much. Also very close to the bus line so easy and affordable to get to.

The most busiest place in Fuzhou
This square is clean, many people came here in the morning to jogging and stretch. This is the center of Fuzhou city, if you plan to visit here, or drive through here in business hour, beware of serious traffic.
