Being a experienced kayaker I often feel frustrated by kayak tour companies who do not appreciate the varied needs of their customers. Kayak Agua Fresca were a refreshing break from the norm. They understood my ability and did everything they could to appease my wants. Claudia appreciated having me in the group and spoke excellent English to lead us. I'd... More

We did the tracking to cape Froward and took this zodiac trip back to civilisation. We were 3 people and organised everything in advance with Cristian (the owner) in his office in Punta Arenas. The zodiac arrived on time and took us to the southern point of the American continent by the sea. Then we did an stop in Bahia... More

A full day tour kayaking out to the light house at San Isadro starts with a pick up at your hotel. There were 2 of us and we had 2 guides - one Chilean who'd been paddling in the area for a few years and the other a young Canadian guy - they had not paddled together before. Boats and... More

I had a great ride out at Agua Fresca. What a wonderful relaxed way to see a bit more of the countryside along the Magellan Strait. The horses were excellent and we cantered along the beach at the end. They treat their horses well, which is very important but hard to know in advance. We had some light pastries at... More

Amazing experience paddling along the Magellan Street. I did the whole day trip, 2h of paddling, then a nice picknick followed by a visit to the lighting tower which is now used as a little museum. Then 2 hours paddling back to the starting point. Cool and experienced kayak guide and very helpful bus driver helping me even go shopping... More

Want something different to do in Punta Arenas. Agua Fresca is a cute ranch outside of town that specializes in not only horseback rides but kayaking or you can do just one. If you book through them it is 1/2 the price of what the cruise lines charge. A basic understanding of Spanish would help but that didn't prevent us... More

I am an avid paddler and I really liked this 2 1/2 trip on the straits of Magellan. The guide spoke very basic english and I and the other person on the tour were suited up in high tech dry suits and given a very good safety briefing - which was very good in my case as it was my... More

We had been looking forward to a day excursion in Punta Arenas with kayaking in the morning and horseback riding in the afternoon. But after waiting almost an hour for our pick up, Agua Fresca was a no show. How disappointing! A security guard on the pier called the contact number, but no answer. We had no email from the... It sure was cool to be able to go kayaking in the Strait of Magellan. The area is stunningly beautiful. We were picked up from the pier where our Norwegian Cruise Lines ship pulled in. Unfortunately, our ship arrived at a different place than anticipated. Had we not had a cell phone, we would have missed the whole tour. It... More

I had the wonderful experience of horseback riding and dolphin watching just outside of Punta Arenas. The horseback riding was for about two hours, along the Strait of Magellan. Beautiful scenery, particularly along the beach. The dolphin watching was pretty neat as well. The dolphins loved the zodiac and would constantly follow it around. There must have been 8 of... More
