About
Kayak en Patagonia was born a decade ago, originally conceived by a group of friends and guides that were born and raised on the shores of the Senoret Chanel. Their dream was to explore and navigate the hidden secrets that only locals knew and to show their beauty and wonders to the people that visit this region. Today, after the many trips and unforgettable experiences that we have shared paddling with people from all over the world, we want to welcome you to Patagonia, a true paradise for Kayaking adventures. In Kayak en Patagonia, we want to give you a "Travel Experience". We work with the best quality of gear, equipment and food on each of our trips. Our certified guides have the knowledge and qualification that is needed to give you a safe and unique experience.

Mind blowingly stunning scenery, matched by superb organization and professional, experienced guidance. From Cristian's clarity at the onset on WhatsApp, to Matt & Magda's expertise in the water and in camp. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kayak en Patagonia for and and all trips, but the longer the better! I am so glad I went with the 4 day excursion to Tyndall Lake, even though the 60 knot winds on the day we were there, made it impossible for us to put the kayaks in the water that day! My consolation was finding an extraordinary Condor feather on the beach! I was fortunate to have a great group, who were all more experienced kayakers than myself. I learned a lot, got much stronger in my kayaking as a result, and always knew I was in good hands, no matter what Mother Nature threw at us. And in Patagonia, she can throw a lot at you! The equipment is top notch, the dry suits, polar suits, kayaks, tents, etc. The food was plentiful, and the physical challenge was exciting. Nothing quite like the feeling of earning the views you are seeing. Traversing rivers on a Kayak is a wonderful way to be in the Patagonian wilderness. I wanted something different and to not be amongst hundreds of trekkers on the W or the O trek (both spectacular in their own rights) but if you want to commune with nature away from everyone else, this is your answer! We saw one other kayaking group (on the first day) the entire trip. Every day offered new and eye defying sights. But of course the glaciers on day 1, 3 & 4 are awesome. Paddling Serrano Lake was a definite highlight.

You won't be disappointed. Will was a fantastic guide and let us out to the icebergs and down the River where we had a fantastic lunch. Unlike most outfitters the gear was new fit all of us great. Capped the trip off with some cold beverages and munchies.

We had an absolute blast during our 2 day Kayaking trip down Serrano river with Christian and Matthew as guides. The trip was meticulously organized with quality gear, on-point briefings, tasty meals and group activities. Even portage was next level with custom built cart used to help kayaks up the slope so very little actual carrying took place. This IS a reasonably strenuous kayaking trip as we were padding most of the first day and even got into a mini-storm (you ARE in Patagonia after all) where we had to go full throttle - which only added to the sense of adventure. Not to worry, our guide Christian threw us a tow line and helped us to get out of the more dicey section of the river. Thank you Christian, Matt and Kayan en Patagonia for the wonderful experience!

This is a professional company with highly trained staff. Our guides worked hard to feed us (so much good food!) and keep us safe on the water. My favourite day was kayaking among icebergs on the lake at the base of Serrano Glacier, riding the waves after the ice calved. Be prepared to fight the Patagonian wind, soak up beautiful views, and have the experience of a lifetime!

I can't say enough good things about dealing with Cristian and Kayak en Patagonia- he was very helpful in planning our trip, was helpful when our trip needed to be modified because of illness, and our one day kayaking trip was wonderful. Our guides were some of the best we have ever had on any guided trip- shout out to Matt!!

We have some kayaking experience in rivers and lakes in the UK and wanted to try more challenging conditions- faster rivers and sea kayaking on the 3 day Grey and Serrano trip . Will and Andy alongside Josefina and Magda were brilliant from the careful kayaking around icebergs in Lago Grey to the final approach to Balmaceda glacier, just a fabulous experience. The bbq at Serrano camp was great, plenty of food (and pisco sours!) throughout the trip. The knowledge and professionalism of the guides was top notch, always giving us tips and advising on the water conditions. We saw otters, fur seals and so many water birds. We really got into remote areas seeing wildlife and magnificent scenery, an unforgettable experience.

We did the 3 day kayak and it had everything we hoped for and more. It was he most enjoyable part of our time down in Patagonia.

The guides, Jeremy and Rodrigo, were total professionals and kept us safe at all times while letting us push our abilities when the time was right. Both had a wealth of knowledge about the area and were a pleasure to be around.

The equipment is all first class. The camping spots, meals and little extras along the way really made it an amazing experience.

What an amazing experience!!! If I could give this a six star review, I would. Everything about this company is top notch, including the equipment, food, beverages and especially the guides. Went on a two day trip up the Serrano River with Andy, and it was nothing short of magical. This was the highlight of my trip to Patagonia. If you are looking at kayaking in Patagonia don't hesitate, just book it today.

First of all, this was a beautiful trip. Everything in Torres del Paine is beautiful, and it was fun to see via water. The gear was high quality as well.

However, I really caution anyone signing up to have clear expectations. The one day trip is very expensive, $275 USD per person. If you are driving from Puerto Natales, be sure to ask if you are picking up other passengers, as our drive took 5 hours to get started. We are intermediate kayakers at best, and the kayak was extremely slow waiting for others in the group who were drafting. There was a lot of instructions and talking from the guide, and little kayaking. We also did not get close to the icebergs.

Unless money and time are not an issue for you, I would recommend taking the boat to gray glacier as an alternative or try a half day kayak trip in Puerto Natales.

Legitimately the most amazing experience of my life! My husband and I did the Grey trip, and neither of us has a lot of experience in the water. Our guides (Jeremy and Will) were great and supportive teachers who stuck with us to get it right, and they were an excellent source of information about the region and the town of Puerto Natales. Truly the most breathtaking way to experience Patagonia. The food was great too! Really the whole day was just incredible and unforgettable. Do yourself a favor and go kayaking with this company! I made a trip advisor account just so I could write this review!
