From Cerro Caracol you can enjoy an amazing view of the whole Santiago, and have a clear picture of the extension of the city. From there you can take a walk to the gardens or just rest fitting in a bar.

The park is meticulously maintained with security posts at intervals, the path winding as the name suggests through beautiful forest to the mirador which is being renovated.

I walked to the top of this hill, helped by the excellent work done by the city to make that possible: paved footpaths all the way up and some nice viewpoints along the way. It was quite a long walk, not for the faint-hearted! Walking...More

Nice trail, makes great uphill run. 2.5 km to the top, 250 meters altitude gain. There are security wardens which makes it safe for everyone.

The view there is fenced off to protect the communications facility. The lower views are OK but only one shows a peek of the river and the Pacific.

Recently renovated, woods with native fauna, lookout points over the towns of Concepción, Talcahuano and Hualpén. Downhill bikers and trash in between, though.

If you are looking for good aerobic hike with some nice views of the city, this is a beautiful path to take. On the weekend there were many individuals and families hiking up or down the path. An historic city park dating from the late...More

They just opened the trail up cerro caracol and it is beautiful. Definitely worth spending time to walk up and down it. It probably takes about 30-40 minutes to walk the path.

There is no view, but it is an ok trail. There's not much to do in Conce, so my advice after living there, is skip Conce if you can.
