The beach was nice and clean, and the surf was good, but holy cow it was windy! So much so that it wasn't really enjoyable to sunbathe. It's great if you're into watersports, especially those needing wind, but for sunbathing, there are much better beaches...More

When the temperature is pinging off the 30* level you MUST have a Beach Umbrella to venture out onto those Hot Sands ... A Natural Fire Walk! We literally ran to the ocean so we could walk along the Beach. Rain umbrellas came into another...More

We stay in an apartment overlooking the beach each time we are in Arica and it's beautiful. The water is cold and the sand is hot but they offer umbrella/chair rentals which are worth it. Water is very calm and relaxing.

Great long beach to walk on. Close to a few 4* hotels, nice restaurants and you can also swim in the beaches near by.

Perfect place to learn how to surf. The beach itself is rocky and not the best place to hang out. The attraction here is definitely the waves. Great place to watch people surf or to catch some waves of your own.

Nice place to walk, very busy the weekends but nice. You can find coffee and restaurants, D'Ominos its a good place for a Pizza and a beer.

Not a Caribbean beach, but you can ride nice long waves suitable for all levels of surfers. 2 or 3 surf schools can be found at the northern end of the beach. Use plenty of sunscreen as the chilean sun gets through even the toughest...More

The beach is large, and stretches for more than a km. The sand is, well, sand. It is clean. There are a few restaurants in a row in the central part, ranging from pizza to Rayu --- one of the best restaurants in Arica.

Very nice beach. It has few restaurants, but overall there are few services offered. It is a quiet beach where you can go to relax, sunbathe, walk, play with children, etc.
