Having a knowledgeable and one that can articulate well Tour Guide is always an icing to a good guided tour experience.
Mr Kim is one such person. Aside from that, he is a responsible and caring guide. Always getting everyone to be involved in his sharing which is mostly lively and fun 👍👍

Definitely recommend Sophanna. We spent 5 days with him and he was very flexible when we changed the plan several times! He was good with our teenage boys and told them lots of interesting facts. He kept us going with cool towels and cold water.
It's definitely a good time to go to Siem Reap!

My wife and I felt lucky to have had Sophanna guided our tour of the temples of Angkor. On the day of the tour my wife did not feel well in the morning. Sophannna waited patiently for us at our hotel until we were ready to go. We asked to do certain activities first. He happily accommodated and in fact rushed us there safely because of limited operation hours of the elephant ride. Sophanna's English is excellent and his mastery of the history of Angkor is impressive. Throughout the hot day, Sophanna had cold waters and towels for us to use. As an extra bonus, Sophanna is an avid photographer. He brought his DSLR camera with him and took many great pictures of us which he was able to transfer directly to my phone at the end of the day. We thoroughly enjoyed having Sophanna guided us around Angkor for the day and highly recommend his services for your Angkor experience.

You can do nothing wrong booking a tour with Phana. 100% recommendation! Phana took us to all the great temples but knew how to avoid the crowd - so we had some really "lonely" moments and awesome fotos that we would not have gotten without him.

we had a great time on the Angkor Complex with Mr Sophanna. He is very knowledgeable . He had such good places for photos that we had a few groups following us , waiting for him to take our photo so they could use the same vantage point.

For many years my wife has wanted me to got with her to visit Angkor Wat. This visit to SE Asia provided the opportunity. It truly was an amazing experience and I can now understand why so many people are drawn to this incredible location. The visit was all the more enhanced by having a great guide, Mr Sohpanna.
When I visit ancient sites I am not just interested in looking at the architecture, but to understand the history the people involved with the history and their motivations. Also to understand exactly how this all fits into the current time.
Mr Sophanna provided this in a very relaxed and informed way. He not only has so much knowledge about all the sites but also the history relating to the events that created the sites and the political and religious forces that moulded the events.
Angkor Wat is visited by millions of people every year from all over the world and so can get very crowded. Mr Sophanna's knowledge of crowd flow enabled us to navigate around the crowds and therefore take some great photographs. Not to mention the fact that he is a very good photographer and took some great photos of my wife and I as well as the site. If you are planning a trip to Siem Reap then I can thoroughly recommend Mr Sophanna as a guide and also to help with your travel plans in Siem Reap and other parts of Cambodia.

We just spent 3 days of sightseeing at Siem Reap with mr Sophanna. He proved to be a great guide with a lot of knowledge about the ancient history and the Cambodian situation nowadays. At times I was stunned by his opinions or comments about certain things, but you have to love the honesty! It was an amazing experience and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more than the usual "Lonely Planet" information about Cambodia and especially Angkor.

Oh, what a day! We had just one day to get a taste of Angkor Wat...we started with sunrise at 5 am. An incredible experience to arrive in the dark (take your flash lite or head light) and watch the day dawn on this magical place. Phanna was a very knowledgeable guide...picked us up w/o delay, knew so much history of the sites, had cold water for us at all times and has a wonderful sense of humor!
He took many photos for us...took us to a local place for lunch ( and to recharge!). I wish we had more time with him. It is always inspiring to hear about the culture, the people and the history. I look forward to the next visit!

Our family of 5 enjoyed fabulous 3 days touring lots of sites In comfy air con van. Good communication and friendly guide. Good knowledge of sites but not too much detail! Great experience
