We had a 3 day private tour 2 - 4 feb 2016 with a muslim cambodian guide named mustafa angkor who is very reliable n helpful n very fluent in our language ...bahasa melayu.. We got to see silk farm, lotus farm, house on high stilts at tonle sap. Also sad cambodian history of killing field n the war museum. Our marvelous halal meals at 3 wonderful halal restaurants at the recommendation of mustafa angkor. The angkor watt tour with its amazing buildup was nice altho hot n tiring. Our guide mustafa angkor patiently waited without any complaints. Look for mustafa angkor at mustafaankor.blogspot.com.....one of the BEST..!

The guide provided was highly knowledgeable, polite and friendly; Value for money. I specifically recommend Mr. Niem Sokem, who has exhaustive knowledge of the area, of not just the monuments but also various eating joints. the service also provides a car(extra charge), it can get very hot in the afternoon so i recommend taking the car as roaming around the monuments is tiring as it is; and most monuments are at a distance from each other. Cold towels and water bottles are provided in the car.

Arranging our trip to Siem Reap was a lot easier thanks to Mony, our guide. He arranged the airport pick up and he planned a whole tour for two days around the area. His knowledge about Angkor is very extensive and he knows exactly which sites to visit at which time of the day. He took care of everything: transport, lunch, refreshments. All we had to do was look at the beautiful surroundings and enjoy our time at Angkor Wat. Highly recommended!!

A friend of us recommended that we get a tour guide when we visit Siem Reap. We were very thankful that we heeded his advise. Our tour guide, Mr. Niem Sokhem, was very kind, knowledgeable and fun to be with! We felt comfortable with him that we even extended our tour from just 2 days to 3. The driver was very kind too and drove safely. Mr. Niem Sokhem is an archaeologist who is working as a tour guide to support his expenses as he takes up higher education. We learned a lot about Siem Reap- its history and current events. He was able to answer whatever question we asked him. We all learned to love Cambodia through the stories he shared.
