All the usual stuff that you get in markets like this; t-shirts, scarves, jewellery, souvenirs, womens clothes, hats etc etc Many of the stalls sell the same stuff. Good if you’re looking for the usual stuff, but there’s nothing here that you won’t find in any market across the whole region.
The only caveat to that might be the bags made from recycled cement bags. It’s apparently a local project to support local people. Cool bags, and I bought one.
Make sure you barter - as a guide you’ll be looking at around 60% from the original price offered.

If you enjoy walking thru flea markets and tourist markets, then you probably will like this one. Many souvenir items, some typical that are offered in every city you visit, but occasionally you will come across some worth while hand made items that are actually good to bring home. Mostly local crafters and sellers.

Mind boggling lay large with a wide variety of produce at, I guess, reasonable prices. But from the moment you enter and until you leave you are accosted by desperate sounding retailers. I understand their situation but it doesn’t encourage one to hang about

Huge great maze of stalls and some decent products available.
But be prepared to be harassed by every single vendor. It is simply not possible to browse or look around without having “You buy something” yelled at you. Sadly this spoilt the experience for me, but you may not feel the same.
The food stalls are fascinating; tonnes of dried meats, spices, vegetables and coffee. But some of the fresh meat stalls require a strong stomach.

Covered market frequented mostly by tourists. Beautiful stalls part non-food, attractive prices and to negotiate. If you are looking for a real market, you have to go early in the morning in the suburbs to the locals market, suitable only for strong stomachs, they sell everything and in borderline hygienic conditions.

I first went to this market when Siem Reap was a sleepy little town 15 years back and how it has changed. Every time I visit it has grown. The Fruit section is amazing. Lots of produce on show. If your after a carving or clothing this market has it all. Lot's of deals to be had.

If you like bartering this is the place for all your shopping needs. We picked up some real bargains having done our homework pricing at other markets etc.
Shopkeepers prepared to give you a good and fair price for most things.
We bought a few silver bracelets and chains at a very good price.
Go for it...

We enjoyed poking about in this market. It is not as cheap as those in Phnom Penh, but there are bargains to be had. We bought watches, copies of well known brands - these are fun as gifts. A beautiful silk king size bedspread was bought for $30 and silk scarves for stocking fillers for Christmas. Very good quality men's clothing - cheap, cheap, cheap! There is plenty of scope to barter and lots of fun to be had with the shop keepers.

You can go to any of the markets for souvenirs, but Central Market is easier to get around in, has fewer tourists, and is just better overall. As mentioned, it is not as crammed as Old Market so you have to walk a bit more to experience the place in its entirety.

Rather throw you in the boiling pot and feed you to the starving animals there than answer that ridiculous question. Sad cretin!
