I like this center and it's got different types of ceramics at wide ranging price points. Wish I could have gotten some larger pieces but can't carry it around during travels. There's a cute coffee/tea/juice place inside and different flavor ice cream.

I have done the pottery class at Khmer Ceramics 3 times - twice with kids and once with friends. Every time was a delight. The staff are friendly and patient, and at the end of the class you are sure to have a piece that you are proud of to take home! My whole family really enjoyed it.

While I highly recommend making pottery with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing folks I feel I need to warn participants NOT to give their contact information to them. My husband and I love meeting people from around he world and as a hearing signer was thrilled to be able to speak to instructors despite our country's language barriers. It was so much fun! The instructors were extremely talented, made the class so much entertaining and we have come away with lovely souvenirs! (FYI the price of the class and price for the piece(s) you can purchase afterward are VERY reasonable!) We thought how fun it would be to have made new friends to communicate with. My husband tipped them well because of the wonderful time we had, but it wasn't long after I had given them my contact info that texts along with photos came depicting poverty and need for money came. It was so disappointing and soured my experience. So as a friendly warning save yourself the heartache of feeling as though you're being scammed, enjoy the wonderful class with these talented young men but don't give them your contact information.

We have visited Khmer Ceramics 3 years in a row and the kids always enjoy turning out their own bowls, cups and vases. We now have a great collection. The ceramics for sale are beautiful and they are wrapped expertly for you when you purchase them. The staff are very patient when teaching and directing the kids on the pottery wheel and the finished products are fired and delivered to your hotel.

게다가 "How do I trust you haven't used it?"이라는 모욕적인 말을 했다.
"I just bought this yesterday from you and you can see it's not used or damaged."
라고 대답하자,
그 직원은 "Ok you can change it for another one, but no refund."

Clay, pottery wheels and shy artisans welcome you encouraging expression. A broad explanation is given on what to do before you are introduced to your artisan, who are all deaf and mute.
They walk you through each step with great patience and are very encouraging. You are able to make 5 pieces of which one is selected to be fired up, an additional usd5 is charged for any additional pieces.
After shaping your pieces - there is an option to carve, takes 24 hours for the fire up. Definitely a great experience - getting lost in expression and time. The last class is at 4pm, ring to make a booking (transport provided or they give you a refund for your tuk tuk).
There is a shop with pieces made by the artisans - not just pottery, includes trinkets, worth checking out.

Great fun! Taught by a fantastic instructor whom saved some of my "creation". The basic pottery stuff is pretty easy, it gets harder when one tries to be more fancy.
You even get to bring home your creation after they baked it for a day.
Recommend for the whole family

My husband and 2 young daughters loved the pottery class. The teachers were very kind to our children, assisting them greatly and pedalling the wheel for them. We made some great pots and had a lot of fun. The shop also sells some lovely products which we purchased. Based on previous reviews I had expected our pots to be delivered to our hotel, but they no longer do that. It wasn't a big deal to collect them the next day. I would recommend.

The kids and I really enjoyed this. In fact my youngest says it was one of the highlights of our trip. Not cheap at $20 each plus another $5 if you want any extra pieces fired. You get to make 5 pieces, and choose one to have fired. You have a demonstration of how to throw a pot using the wheel, then a personal teacher sitting opposite you, intervening when necessary. We had 7 pieces fired. They were delivered the following evening to our hotel. Unfortunately one piece belonged to another family and one of ours was missing. The centre did everything they could to rectify this, it turned out my sons pot (in a frog shape) had broken, so they offered him to make another that same evening. In fact when we arrived they had already replicated it so my son just needed to add his final touches. It was delivered just before we checked out the following day, red hot from the kiln! Fab service.
