It was an amazing experience if you wanna avoid the smoke in town ! We cycled for 2hrs then got a smooth transfer to the floating village where we received a warm welcoming - soon later they brought us to the mangroves with a ranger ; a truly wonderful trip for a Sunday ! I highly recommend it! Also they provided us a very good rate we couldn’t complain and it is totally worth the amount of money! Thank you!

Fantastic kayak trip to the flooded forest (high water season only). They picked us up at the jetty, we got some beers, passed floating villages and reached the remote flooded forest after a 1.5hrs transfer. Beautiful kayaking and even swimming. Highly recommend

An amazing experience to go to the floating village. We did the morning tour and it took us about 1 hour to get there. We went with our 2, 4 and 10 year old. When we got out of the car a woman took pictures of us, which she was selling for 3$ in our way back. In the end, a nice souvenir! From the parking we took a boat to the kayak place. They had life vests for all ages and we really enjoyed the kayaking through the village, where you can see kids boating to school, for example. Our kids were excited and luckily were sitting still. I really enjoyed that it was not a very touristy place. The guide Sokly was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of geographical and cultural knowledge with us. He is great! I really wanted to go through the forest, but the amount of flying insects scared us off and we turned around. Doing only the village was still totally worth it. We also had lunch at the kayak place, which was also a restaurant. However, the lunch was a bit overpriced and not really options available (rice, fish soup, vegetables and a fish / shrimp sauce). They are also holding crocodiles.

Pros: wonderful to visit a traditional floating village where the people go about their daily lives and don’t put on a show for tourists The kayaks are new and easy to use We had some local fruits for a snack We saw a monk visiting the local people and a wedding celebration Cons: We went in dry season - this meant we did not see the floating forest because the water level was too low - unfortunately we still paid US$150 for the two of us. We thought this was overpriced for the overall experience as we spent maybe an hour on the kayaks and the rest of the time was travelling. Overall we would do this tour again but in the wet season when you get more value for the cost.

We booked a kayaking tour with overnight stay in Prek Toal on the Tonle Sap lake. At firstI didn’t knowehat to think of itas Icouldn’t find a lot of information on thetours offered, but I’m so glad we did the tour. It was a wonderful experience. I consider this as the most beautiful, unique and pure experience on our Cambodia trip. A local guide, Nan, joined us for the 2 day trip. He was a wonderful guide who tought us a lot about life, culture and nature in the region. At night, he stayed with us at the local homestay, as he was our translator to communicate with our hosts. To stay with this lovely host family was a very warm encounter, as they did everythig to make us feel welcome in their small floating home. Also here, we learned a lot about how they live on the lake during dey and wet season. I would highly recommend this trip and I want to say thanks to Nan our guide who did a lot for us!
