I like to take my guests away from the crowds to experience the real Cambodia with my Photography Tours through my eyes .

I was born in Takeo Province, along the boarder with Vietnam. Takeo is sometimes referred to as 'the cradle of the Khmer civilization.' In 2000, I moved to Siem Reap where I began work as a tuk-tuk driver.

Over time, I met many professional photographers from around the world, people who were seeking something other than the well-worn tourist trails. With a growing curiosity in the activities and work of these photographers, I began to photograph myself. Since 2005, I have had a number of Western tutors, and have gone on to establish myself as a well-known photographer in Siem Reap Province.

I have developed a series of tours through Angkor (Siem Reap), Battambang, Kampot, Sihanoukville and Phnom Penh. I have experience of other areas in Cambodia if you wish to see more of my country

I can offer transport by tuk-tuk or my air conditioned car.

We had the pleasure of having kimleng as our guide on our first time visiting siem reap. He is kind, a great teacher for photography and knows the temples and the surrounding countryside by heart! Since he knew at what time to be at certain places we never felt like there were too many tourists! And at the temples he... More

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of going on a photography trip with Kimleng on November 6, 2014. Since I first saw the pictures of Angkor Wat on the internet, I have always been eager to come to Siem Reap and explore the temples myself. My wife and I got our vacation days approved last minute and we... More

Kimleng is a soft spoken, gentle, knowledgeable Cambodian from the countryside who wants to show others Cambodia through his eyes. His photography skills are only matched by his kindness. Because of his commitments we were only able to spend a day and a half with him....well, and a sunrise at Angkor Wat with him and his client who was gracious... More

We booked Kimleng for 3 days after reading his website and the reviews here. We were not disappointed. He is excellent! He was very good at taking us to areas away from the crowds so we could fully appreciate the temples and he knows all the best places to take stunning photographs. We also drove through some villages and went... More

I was on a three days photographic tour with Kimleng. He is a reliable man, always just in time and caring for his customer. I appreciate his knowledge of photography and his skills for choosing good locations. Kimleng took me around in his comfortable A/C car, provided cold water and refreshing towels. I definitely would hire his services on a... More

I booked Kimleng for a second time, on our last visit to Cambodia we spent time mainly around Siem Reap. We wanted to experience other parts of Cambodia on this trip. After several emails we decided on an itinerary of 3 nights in Sihanoukville, 2 nights in Kampot and 1 night in Phnom Penh escorted by Kimleng. He picked us... More

Kimleng was busy and unable to take me as a client but arranged an alternative photography guide that was very good. A photography guide will save you time and increase the quality and volume of your photos taken because they can manage both your time, the where to go at a certain time for the quality of light and also... Kim Leng was able to show me the local and less touristy side to Siem Reap and photographed monks, children, animals and so forth in local villages. When we did visit temples, he knew what time to visit that captured the best photographic light, as well as to avoid the hordes of tourists so that they didn't get in the... More

We did a 2 day tour with Kimleng, one day at 6:30am, to take advantage of the morning light, & the other day a 4:20am start to get the best position for the sunrise (we were only the 2nd people to arrive, about 250 there when we left). He took us to the big well known temples but also knew... More
