We went to Siem Reap in Dec 2022. The hotel that we stayed was Golden Retreat Temple which was conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood yet close to everything we want to see. Since our main purpose to come to Cambodia was to see the famous temples such as Angkor Wat, we requested our hotel to arrange a 2-day tour for us. Tep Nat was the tour guide that met us the morning of the full day tour, while the driver was Ron. The tour turned out to be so amazing that it became the reason we would love to come back to Cambodia again.

Tep Nat arrived early and greeted us with a warm smile. He was caring, making sure that our outfits were suitable for the weather and the full day of activities. The moment we got into the van, driver Ron was already there greeting us sincerely with water that we would need for the day. His driving skill is superb.

For each day of the tour, Tep Nat explained to us the plan for the day, including the historical ruins that we would visit, as well as how and when our lunch breaks would be arranged. He also let us know whenever there was bathroom nearby coz I quite like to take bathroom breaks whenever possible. Most importantly, Tep Nat and driver Ron were super accommodating and caring. Tep Nat would make sure we were not too tired after visiting a number of temples. My husband had all the energy in the world, while I started to get tired after a few temples. Tep Nat was kind enough to ask, and adjusted the plan accordingly. So that my husband could go off with him to see another temple, while I could take some rest.

Tep Nat is obviously a very experienced and organized tour guide in planning our day. Each temple we saw builds up our interest and excitement in seeing the next. We ended up seeing 6 temples on the 1st day which was a lot, but we were surprised that each had such impressive architectural structure and rich history.

Tep Nat has deep knowledge of every historical ruin we visited, from the architectural structure to the history / story / years that each was built. I am truly impressed by his enthusiasm in sharing with us the rich history of the temples. One can feel how passionate Tep Nat is in sharing with us the Khmer civilisation. This has really opened our eyes to the amazing culture of this country.

One thing that I like Tep Nat a lot is that he would tell us the best spots to take pics for each temple. And he often offered to help which was very kind and thoughtful. That personal touch makes a huge difference in our experience and is very much appreciated.

Each temple is basically a piece of art. Not only were we able to see the remarkable work that was put into each historical ruin, we had thoroughly enjoyed the fascinating history that Tep Nat shared with us. Our trip to Siem Reap would not have been this unforgettable, if it wasn’t for Tep Nat who took us through the incredible history of the Khmer culture and their architectural monuments.

We had a lovely time seeing the sights of Angkor Wat with Rithy.
Please hire a guide when visiting this amazing place. It’ll make your visit so much more worthwhile and convenient.
If you’re lucky enough to visit Siam Reap, do hire Rithy, He is knowledgeable, patient, his English was excellent.

Thank you Rithy. We had a great time!

Rithy and Toona (the driver) picked our family of 5 up at 04.50 for our day. After a stop at the ticket office we headed into Ankor national park ready for breakfast and the sunrise over Ankor Wat. Our day was full of energy, information and great photography by Rithy!! He makes the day! We visited 4 temples and the car Aircon, cold towels and cold water provided between each stop were very welcome.. rithy was also flexible in his approach and happy to go straight through the day but also gave us the option to break the trip in two with a couple of hours back at our hotel for a rest before continuing. We chose to go straight through, so had a stop for lunch at a park restaurant ( lovely), a quick rest in their hammocks and then off again. Thoroughly recommend this day tour. Thank you Rithy and Toona.

We first got in touch with Angkor Wat Day Tour via their website. Shortly after, Tevy responded to our enquiries with her prompt replies. The booking with Angkor Wat Day tour was a breeze!

We booked a 1-Day Angkor Secret Entrance tour and Tee was our private guide for the day. Tee is very knowledgable with the history of the temples and culture of Cambodia. He is a great storyteller who is able to let us see the tie between the history of the temple and the architecture seen. Not forgetting that he is humorous, dropping light-hearted jokes among the explanation of the deep history. Tee took amazing photos for us as well, we even had the feeling that he was a specially engaged photographer for the day (he didn’t have to but yup he did)! At the last part of our tour, we proceeded to climb up to Phnom Bakheng hill for sunset while Tee would be waiting for us at the foot of the hill. Rain came just as the weather forecast predicted, but what we did not expect was to see Tee appear behind us with umbrellas (though the short shower had stopped -.-|||). It was very thoughtful and kind of him to rush vertically up, worrying that we might be drenched. He definitely went an extra mile.

Overall, the tour with Angkor Wat Day Tour was well-organised. Fast replies, very reasonable price, AMAZING guide (Tee) with true dedication, impressive service! Nothing to prepare for the tour with them, just pack a pair of trusty track shoes, your camera and an open mind to take in the history, sights and sounds of the grand ancient temples.

I booked a two-day tour for 4 people. The first surprise was the low price. Then the flexibility of the organizer (we weren't an easy case, four people with four expectations). Then the tour itself was just amazing. It was unbelievable that we visited 12 places in two days, and all were worth it. The biggest experience was the Kampong Kleang fishing village. We were prepared for the sight of ancient temples but not for this unrealistic world of stilt and floating houses.
Compared to most of the part of Asia we found Siem Reap nice and clean, organised and civilized.
I am already organizing our next trip.

I had the pleasure of having Mr. Rithy as our tour guide for 3 days in Siem Reap. He was sent by the travel agency that we booked the tour package.

On top of speaking impeccable English, he is courteous, funny, and entertaining. His knowledge of the history and legends of these sites, plus the few tricks with the camera has made this already amazing trip even more enjoyable. I highly recommend him as a tour guide for Siem Reap.

I had the best time with the guys from Angkor Wat Day Tour. I sent them a email just one day before I wanted to go on tour and tea responded very fast and created a two day trip for me. The itanery is flexible, so you can tell them what you like to see and they set it up for you. Day one Tea picked me up on time at my hotel and we had a fantastic day visiting temples. He is a very knowledgeable and funny guide who tells a lot of storys and background informations about the temples, religions and cultures. He knows how to avoid the crowds and where to go for the best sunrise and sunset. The next day Tea's lovely wife Tevy and Pissa were on tour with me. We visited temples further away and also a floating village. They did all for my wellbeing and I felt very comfortable with them. As I left Siem Reap the other day, Tea wrote me a message because I've forgotten my shirt in the car. So he sent it to my next destination and I just could pick it up at the reception. They provide an outstanding service. I am very glad that I have booked this tour and I can highly recommend it to everyone.
