My girlfriend and I decided to watch the sunset over Tonle Sap lake after a recommendation from our Tuk Tuk driver. The drive there was long but interesting and gave a unique insight into rural Cambodia. Tickets were purchased along the way and cost $20...More

I was very thankful to have read the reviews before our trip. We're with Citrus Travel and enjoyed a very good day out with our guide yesterday. We did a full day temple tour. Citrus suggested doing a Tonle Sap Lake tour which we had...More

Went on a half day morning tour here with 'Siem Reap Shuttle'. While it is an interesting place to visit, you quickly feel like a westerner cash cow to the locals. I would also have concerns regarding safety. We began our journey on an old...More

The floating villages were interesting & we liked that aspect of the tour but that was ALL we enjoyed. Getting to the dock was a long ride very up close and personal in an overcrowded non air conditioned minibus, literally having to "walk the plank"...More

Our driver arranged a charted boat ride for our family with payment of USD15 per person. The jetty was made of wooden tree branches, entry and departure from boat is scary. The boat took us through paddy field (only during dry season), floating village, mangrove...More

I just visited the lake. I think this type of tour is benefits to our children, if we travel with kids. We went to the floating village, to the mangrove, and to the floating village School, and animals area. We were explained how poverty the...More

This is also called the Floating Village tour. Our hotel Tuktuk driver recommended this since we were done with the temple tours. Now I regret taking the recommendation because we almost got scammed. First, the location is quite far, about 30-45 minutes tuktuk ride from...More

We were on a private tour with Indo-China Services but another couple we chatted with hired a tuk-tuk driver (I would prefer a cab-the road is dusty) and then they purchased there tickets at the lake for the boat.

We did see a few boy monks cutting grass but no-one approached us asking to donate rice .... imo, if you did want to donate to the monks, then let your guide know and they will happily help you to do this :-)
