We had a wonderful three days with Nimol, one of the guides from AJ and a driver. Travelling with two young girls, this wasn't straightforward but they really made it pleasant and enjoyable (including the sunrise tour of Angkor Wat). From pre-planning through execution they were always on time, courteous, caring and overall very professional. We can wholeheartedly recommend their service.

We had a wonderful 2 day tour with Nimol. The history he provided, the transportation (private driver with cold water), the flexibility in planning ruin tours and floating village tours, and the hospitality were all amazing. Highly recommend the whole touring outfit - but we had an exceptional experience with Nimol and with Kanha (who helped us book everything). Nimol was also a fantastic photographer!

Our tour guide (Thy Soeun) along with our driver was amazing and so informative. He shared so much knowledge with us and was so professional and helpful. Our trip wouldn’t have been the same if we tried to do it on our own. Angkor Journeys was so helpful setting up the tour and meeting our needs. Thank you!

In mentioning my business trip to Cambodia and my intention to visit Angkor Wat, a friend said that I MUST reserve the guide services of Kanha. So, I emailed her and we agreed on a two day tour for me and a companion. She met us a five am at the bus station to begin the first day when we visited Ta Prohm, Banteay Srei Temple, and Temple of the Faces (Bayon). Kanha had arrange for us an air-conditioned Toyota SUV with driver whose name sounded like "Money.". It was very hot as it was mid-July (thanks goodness, no rain). In guiding us through these awesome temples, Kanha clearly explained the significance and history of what we were looking at. Her English is excellent and she had a wonderful way of relating to us. Whenever we returned to the car, Money was there with ice-cold washrags for us to wipe our faces, handing us at the same tile a bottle of very cold water.
The second day she and the driver picked us up at 4:45 am to see the sunrise over Angkor Wat. WOW! It was magnificent and magical. The rest of the day we absorbed the beauty of this UNESCO World Heritage site. It was incredible! We learned so much from Kanha's excellent and relevant stories and history, enjoying so much her wonderful and at times humorous way of of relating to us.
She is a master guide and we were very pleased with Kanda and our two days at Angkor Wat.

Dear Fred,
Thank you for sharing your true wonderful words on this. It as my pleasure to show you and your friend (Art) around. It was such a great time for all of us. I was not only the one who provided all the information, but also a learner from you too. Thank you for sharing your experience with me.
Oh, our driver's name is Mony not Money, but that is fine to call him as Money. Everyone needs money and we need him for our trip.
Thanks again,
kanha

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time in Siem Reap thanks to Kanha. We were picked on two days and shown the sites. Kanha had lots of interesting information to help us understand our surroundings and took us to places we would not have found on our own. Her english was great and she was friendly and flexible in what we could do with our time. Would definitely recommend her.

Kanha was our guide for 9 days. She and Mony (must request as a driver, he’s fantastic), drove my family of 6 adults around from Phnom Penh, Battambang and Siem Reap. She started by picking us up from the airport. She speaks perfect English, is very cultured from her travels around the world, and is a native to Cambodia. Kanha is very perceptive to others’ feelings and their likes and dislikes, which is much appreciated! She’s flexible if there’s an issue (like me getting sick with my stomach) and always punctual when she picked us up in the mornings for our day trips out. The tours are filled with beautiful sights, important cultural places, and her education to us on what the significance is of all these places. She is so smart and filled with so much knowledge of any place you’d visit. She even hand picked all the restaurants we ate at for dinner and lunch, and made reservations everywhere. Because of her connections all throughout Cambodia, we experienced way more than a general tour could offer, such as seeing how rice paper is made with a family in a village, and how clay pottery is made from a small family’s home. Things you can’t see in a big general company tour. If you want to have a guaranteed great time, with no hassle in this country, a guide to immerse you in Cambodia, and an overall interpreter and scheduler, you gotta go with Kanha. On my last night in Cambodia she even sent me a reminder email of a transport she arranged for us from a beach city to the airport. Mind you, she ended tours with us 5 days ago. She’s amazing!

Our family of 4 had an amazing time with Kanha's team. Her tour guide and driver made our two days in Siem Reap extremely efficient and a pure joy! She has some great customer service touches like those heavenly jasmine infused towels!! The family loved stepping into the van from the humid outside and relax under a cold jasmine infused towel.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and made history fun for our two teens. He also had great command of English. All in all, a very memorable trip! Thank you Kanha and team.

Mingalaba from Myanmar!
One of my friends cum my travel arranger (Ms. Thet Zin from Living Irrawaddy) introduced me to Ms. Kanha Reath for my Angkor Wat tour.
I first planned to spend only one full day in Angkor Wat since I was doing solo traveling to two countries and four cities within 12 days. I was in touch with Ms. Kanha via e-mail and Facebook prior to my trip to Cambodia. Ms. Kanha suggested me to spend one more day in Siem Reap so that I could cover some of the other famous temples and attractive spots in Angkor and outside of the Angkor. Her justification convinced me to consider extending one more day but there was no way to cancel my hotel reservation in Phnom Penh for one night since it would cost me some serious cancellation fee. She smartly came up with a solution which was to move my bus ticket to Phnom Penh from morning to mid night bus. By doing that, I could spend two full days in SR - visited many of the famous temples and sightseeing inside the Angkor and outside of it. Honestly speaking, I was a bit nervous about the mid night bus but she assured me that IBIS is a very famous brand and they have at least four drivers being assigned for each bus and all the drivers are very professional and drive within the normal speed! She was right! I had a great five-hour ride in a sleeping bus between SR and PP. I truly thank her for this smart suggestion. I would not be able to enjoy SR and ANGKOR in just one day so big thanks to Ms. Kanha.
I am so grateful to my friend who introduced me to Ms. Kanha for so many reasons. Ms. Kanha is very(very) professional, smart, flexible and incredibly well knowledgeable about Cambodia, Asia and the world. She speaks impeccable English which is very impressive. During the two-day tour to Angkor Wat with Kanha, I did not feel I was with a paid tour guide but rather with a great, fun-loving and happy-go-lucky dear friend.
Little did i know about her superb photography skill! Only a solo traveler can understand another solo traveler's biggest challenge during the trip which is non other than taking photographs of oneself. Kanha again played another big role here by handling my almost pro Sony camera. She took so many photos of mine with very picturesque backgrounds- cheers to her smart ideas. I owe her big time for the awesome photographs of mine she took with my camera.
Oh - how can I forget about the kind and fantastic Tuk Tuk driver. He was very patient and sweet. At every stop, he would offer me cold wet tissues and bottled water which I find very helpful. The weather is very hot in Angkor so the cold wet tissues, bottled water and the way the Tuk Tuk driver offered me these things surely helped me reduce my anger and frustration towards heat and the sun. He was very cute that I could not stop myself from tipping him some money after the tour was completed on the second day.
Last but not least, if you need someone who speaks great English, take photos like a pro and friendly and active then Ms. Kanha is the right choice as a guide for your tour in Angkor Wat.
Happy New Year!

Kanha was the best guide we've had out of 3 trips to Siem Reap.
She was incredibly informative as well as understanding of one of our party with a damaged ankle.
Even though I'm sure she's seen the temples thousands of times, she still has a great love of them.
We highly recommend her and her lovely driver.

As a professional interpreter and trainer I can say that Kanha is by far the best tour guide you will find anywhere. My few days with her at Angkor Wat were astonishing. I had been once without her and the difference is a hot stroll through buildings vs time with a thoughtful and highly knowledgeable gude who makes this a once in a lifetime experience. Not only is she an expert, she is also caring and delightful. If you have any doubts about taking a tour or which one, put them to rest, go with Kanha, you will be so glad you did!
