I chose few companies(tour guide) after reading and searching many different websites and services. Then I decided to go with Mr. Praim after contacting him with emails as his feedbacks were fastest, professional and with caring attitude and details. Reasonable price was another plus factor. Though our family couldn't finish the entire 3 days plans due to my health condition, Mr. Praim tried his best to satisfy and help us. He is well mannerd and has good knowledge about everywhere we visited and gave good explanations and answers on many questions about history, name of stones, methods of architect, neighbouring countries and so forth. Meeting him gave us quite good impression on Cambodia and Siem Reap people in general.
I definately can recommend Mr. Praim to anyone starting my daughter's AP World History teacher who is planning to visit in the winter. I myself might comeback soon to comlplete my trip to far away temples, hidden jungle and fishermen's village.

We were so lucky to have Praim Hear as our guide in our very first Cambodia trip. we booked a 5-day tour but ended up with 6. he is very punctual and polite, flexible and very knowledgeable. His concerned was to make sure you feel safe and welcome in your new surroundings. very well versed and told interesting myths and history of the temples. he makes sure to avoid crowds by going through back entrance.
we highly recommend to give hime a call when planning a trip to Siem Reap.
He's totally worth it for the price of his excellent and attentive service.

Angkor Visitor Tour Company continues to provide the best travel experiences in Cambodia. Clean and comfortable transportation, customized itinerary where you participate in local customs, enjoy guided experiences to the Siem Reap night markets, dine with locals, go deep into the heart of Angkor Wat, and get off the beaten track. Priam Hear speaks excellent English, tells great stories, educates you on the geography and of Cambodia and is very open about his own family's life. We have done all of the tours offered by the company and hope to return again very soon!

We booked a 3 day private tour in Siem Reap with Praim. The tour was wonderful thanks to Praim. He is very professional, speaks very good English and is very kind. He has a very wide knowledge in history and explains with a lot of patience all you ask for. We highly recommend his tours.

After reading the tremendous reviews about Hear Praim, I decided to go with his tour service for 6 people for 3 days. One the first day, he took us first to pre sup, gave us some highlight on the place which I could have very much googled it, and then told us to walk on our own to see the temple while he wait at the bottom for us (when we went on top, other tourist had their tour guide guiding them through each monument). When I questioned him about this, he said there is nothing much to see which was rather ridiculous answer in my opinion. The same happened in phnom bakheng, highlights and left us alone. Mind you, his tour is not cheap! The 2nd day, we headed to Angkor wat, and instead of taking us us to the front entrance of the temple to have a majestic view, he decided to take us through the back way and the whole time, he was just rushing us and didn't allow us much time to explore and appreciate the temple. When we reached the pond side to take pictures he was discouraging us to do so and told us there's too many people. Very disappointed!! He even decided to cancel ta keo and ta nei without even asking us if that is okay and ended the trip by 2pm. I decided to cancel him for the 3rd day. The whole trip he was only giving higlights, unfriendly, unwelcoming, arrogant, didn't show any sense of passion in his job and he made us hate the places we visited! I learnt that it is better to go with tour guide who is still establishing his reputation in this area than to go with someone who is already established. While we were in bayon, we were left alone to explore the temple whilst others had really passionate tour guide explaining in detail on each faces and the meaning of each sculpture and through someone else's tour guide, I learnt that one of the sculpture has a third eye and when I asked Praim, he simply just told me that there is nothing much to know about the temple or the third eye and that everything in baton looked similar! It is really not justified to pay him the price he charges for just mere highlights I could get from Google.

Dear Sunita Thanks for your feedback and I am so sorry to hear that you did not satisfy with my tour service to had provided to you and your family. Actually after the last day tour I thought you all enjoyed the two days tours I had provided, because everyone were happy and I already did all my best for tours as always have done it to others. I have never thought my tour service I had provided to you turned out to be terrible service, which doesn’t make sense to me and this is my first terrible feedback I have ever received after 6years since I have run my own business while have received more 300 positive feedbacks. Satisfaction, enjoyment, flexibility and fun tour activities of my guests is always my top priority, I truly regret to your negative feedback. ( I understood that your family are originally from India so you always are high magnate) I am not sure how high quality of tour and how friendly services you expect to get from a two days tour cost 170USD for 6people including a/c mini van, tour guide, drinking water and cold towels during the tours. The tour duration is around 8hours a day, I was not sure that you would like me to follow your group of 6people to every single step all the times during the tour, so at some temples I usually allow my guests to have free time around 10minutes to take photos and experience by themselves. As there is limitation of tourist at to climb at some temples so most of tour guide would not go with their guests to some certain places. I have never left you alone without explaining history of temple or without giving the information as you comments. I had never done anything without asking permission from your group during the tours as always. I also noted that punctuality did not work quite well with your group as you always show up late at least 30minutes for every pick up time from the hotel. All 6people in your group never paid attention to what I explained and gave me more questions than listening to my answers, that was also fine with me and I repeated it again as again for you as your member went here and there. I did tell where is best spots for the photos taken and I took many photos for you and your family. Then at Angkor Wat We agreed to beat the crowds and went through back entrance to Angkor Wat, you did not miss the front view as we left Angkor Wat through front entrance. We made it reach third level before the crowds without spending a minute to wait in a line. we spent about 3 hours there, (normally tour spend around 2hours only there) you should have told me that you wanted to spend more time there. After second day tour you had canceled the next day tour as you said your dad had some problems with his knees and willing to pay for two days tour 170USD instead of 285USD for three days tours within our prior agreement, I was very flexible and fine, even though I had other tours inquiry for next day and I did not accept other tours. I would not charge you for the tour if I would know that you did not satisfy with the tour I had provided. All in all, your feedback really doesn’t reflect to my service I had provided to you and it is unacceptable feedback for me. I apologize for any inconvenience during the tours that did not meet your high expectations and demands. Best regards, Praim

We really enjoyed our 2 day tour with Priam. His knowledge of the history of the temples and information about Cambodia and the people was extensive and interesting. His English is very good and he patiently and politely dealt with our constant stream of questions. We went off the beaten track in day 2 to a floating village and didn't see any other tourists - a refreshing change from some tours! His car comfortably accommodated us as a group of 4. There was always a plentiful amount of cold water and towels and he was also an excellent photographer, doing panos for us and finding the best spots for photos. Highly recommend organizing a tailor made tour for your needs with this delightful young man.

We spent 3 days in Cambodia with Praim as our guide and it was a truly memorable experience.

From the first when he organised for us to be picked up at the airport (it is so nice to see that little sign with your name on it after a long journey) to our 2 days at the temples, which he has an extensive knowledge of and our visit to a fishing village. Without this great local knowledge it would have been very difficult to fully appreciate them as there is very little information at the temples themselves.

I would fully recommend Praim as a tour guide. His English is great and his punctuality and knowledge made him a pleasure to deal with.

We had booked another highly recommended tour guide months ago for a two day tour of the Angkor Wat area but unfortunately he was ill when we arrived and he recommended Priam to us as an alternative. Our disappointment turned to happiness as Priam quickly convinced us that he was a great alternative.
Priam has a very nice manner, is extremely knowledgable and seemed to know how to avoid the crowds by taking back entrances to the temples, although this sometimes involved a little more walking.
The itinerary included all of the main temples on the first day including Angkor Wat (don't bother with the 5am sunrise pick up as it is a non event), Angkor Thom and Ta Promh which is the ruined temple used in the Tomb Raider movie. On the second day we visited the hidden ruined lost jungle temple of Beng Maelea which was our favourite and should not be missed if you have two days in Seim Reap. In the afternoon we had a unique ride on a small boat in a mud stream through floating villages to Tonie Sap lake. We were the only tourists at this location and really got to experience the true Cambodia! If you do this trip make sure you stop at a roadside stall for a sticky rice treat tasted in a piece of bamboo - absolutely delicious and a specialty of this area.
Well done Priam, we had a sensational time and got a great feel for your wonderful country.

I booked Mr Praim Hear after reviewing feedback from TripAdvisor. From the start I was impressed by his professionalism and seriousness through my email interactions which led me to chose him among many options. He was indeed a great choice. Knowledgeable, courteous, flexible, a great guide and excellent companion to learn about Cambodia and its people. He has been guiding for 10 years and knows all the ins and outs to beat the crowds Which can be a bit overwhelming. Thank you Mr. Praim for making our trip so much fun and interesting.
