Angkor Guide organizes original and personalized day trips with the best possible service in and around Angkor. Our goal is to let you meet the beautiful Khmer people, to show and practice the local traditions and explore with you the Unseen Cambodia.The company is a small family operated business (Ratanak and Sovan). It will be very much our pleasure to be your host. We look forward to hear from you.

We booked the two day tour and we loved it, it was just amazing!
Ratanak is an incredibly nice guy and his knowledge is amazing.
He has incredible knowledge of Angkor and history, he also has an incredible amount of knowledge about the history and historical background of his home country.
Beside he is incredibly good at conveying all of this and all of this in excellent English.
He is 100% reliable, the whole tour is perfectly organized and thought out.
Last but not least, Ratanak is an incredibly nice and funny fellow who is always up for a joke!
We booked a private tour, which I can only recommend, even though the tour may cost a few dollars more, I can only recommend the company 100%.
Nothing to complain about everything is worth every penny.
Thank you again for incredible 2 days that left a lasting impression on us.

If you want to book a tour for the Temples in Angkor, Ratanak is the guy to get!
He has a really broad knowledge regarding the history of the temples and knows all the background and mythologies the carvings describe. Ratanak is also an amazing photographer and went out of his way for the best pictures!
He drove us around the temples with a a/c cooled car and provided us as much water as we could drink.
The only thing that was not perfect was the lunch on the first day. He took us to some expensive restaurant (average food - 7$ per meal) which felt like a tourist trap.
Summary: I would recommend Ratanak 100% to everyone!

Our time with Ratanak was really fantastic. Before our trip we were convinced by the many great reviews, now we know why everyone is so enthusiastic about him.
The communication beforehand, but especially during the three-day trip, was pleasant. In addition, it never got boring during the three days and we had a lot of fun.
Most important: Ratanak is the perfect tour guide. Always attentive, pays attention to many details and really knows his stuff. And if we had any questions, he had the answer. We not only learned a lot about the temples and the history of the Khmer, but also about the culture and economy of the country in general.
Apart from that, he made sure that our photo documentation of the trip was also successful. No matter at which temple, Ratanak knew a good place for photos.
So if we ever come to Siem Reap again, we would immediately call Ratanak and hope that he has time for us.

Ratanak took us on a one and a half day tour around Angkor Wat and some of the less visited temples to the east. He was by far the best guide I have had to any historical site in Asia. His English is outstanding, his knowledge of the sites impeccable and he has a good sense of when to provide more information and when to let us have a look around and enjoy the view. His communication with us before we arrived was excellent - he sent several WhatApp messages confirming all information and timing and was prompt in replying. He is also a fantastic photographer - he knows all the best angles for a shot and was a whiz with both my iPhone and my SLR. Highly recommend.

I had the pleasure to do a two day trip at the Angkor Temples with Eath Ratanak, The Angkor Guide.
Everything went smoothly, from the inquiry to the booking till the pick up in time.
Earth knows a lot of the history and the temple’s, he explained several details and context well and understandably.
I would especially like to emphasize that we partly used side entrances and thus did not get me in the way with the mass of tourists. I was able to see several „hidden“ insights.

Ratanak was a knowledgeable, polite and entertaining guide for our visit recently. He was our driver, personal photographer and also our source of interesting facts for many places we visited.
He also had the foresight to shuffle our timing slightly to avoid congestion due to religious holidays and took alternate entrances to attractions to avoid some of the crowds. I would recommend him to anyone who asks!

I am here to write a review for the guide Ratanak Eath (we didnt go through The Angkor Guide, our hotel arranged the tour but this guide was so good I wanted to write a review for him). He is very well informed, can talk about the history of Cambodia very well but also put it in global context. He takes you to the best places and take amazing photos. We did a tour of the temples and then went to the mountains (and waterfall). Both tours were incredible.

We were personally recommended by our friend to have Nak as our private guide for 2 days to tour Siem Reap, and couldn’t be more pleased! He is extremely knowledgeable about the history, fun to be around with a great sense of humor, plus takes incredible photos!! He plans the tour to avoid crowds the best he can, so our pictures are just us! We appreciated having an air conditioned car in between temples, since the weather was very hot and humid. He also provides multiple bottles of water during the day and keeps a cooler in the vehicle. We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience with Nak and highly recommend him!!!!!!

Mr. Ratanak was our best tour guide during our 5 weeks stay in Southeast Asia. We liked his expertise and his charming way to guide us trough the temples of Angkor Wat. He picked us up at the hotel with his comfortable car. Additionally, he knows how to make unconventional pictures, as he is interested in social media and good photography. During the drives to the temples, we had very pleasant conversations about a lot of topics. We even had the chance to meet his wife and 10 year old daughter in the old market. We highly recommend Mr. Ratanak as a tour guide. We wish him a lot of customers for the future!

Ratanak is a well experienced, knowledgable and polite tour guide I have met ever. He is not only an excellent guide but also a professional photographer. If you are traveling alone or want to capture beautiful photos, choose Ratanak. He took about a hundred photos for us and they are breath taking. Highly recommended guide ever.
