This was a fun morning for us, class started at 9am by shopping at the local Sunday farmers market buying our ingredients then we went back to learned how to cook up an amazing feast. Pace was great, intimate setting, nice fans blowing on us in the shade and with a kind and fun instructor. Going to the market was... More

We did this tour on our first night in Siem Reap and it was a great introduction to the local food and gave us confidence to try things we would never have been game to try on our own. It was just the two of us and were picked up from our hotel by a local guide in a tuk... More

I'm a huge fan of cooking classes when traveling especially when they combine a local market experience. At $35 pp, this was an amazing deal! The local market was as local as you could get and I also picked up a large, ripe, delicious papaya for $0.75 and 1/2 kilo of longans (similar to lychee taste but smaller and brown... More

The cooking class and market visit with Chef Saroun was a wonderful and memorable addition to our time in Siem Reap. We were picked up from our hotel by a tuk tuk and brought to the River Garden Hotel. Once we had paid, Saroun joined us for a ride out to the local market where she showed us and identified... More

I was kind of worried when I read the reviews here about everyone's making a large dishes instead of making individual ones. However, I cant find another cooking class with more decent environment and same reasonably priced so far. Luckily we have joined this cooking class! The local market tour before the class was interesting and our chef has given... More

Fun experience and another way to enjoy Siem Reap when finished with temples. Fyi better do a class than Ton le Sap lake. SAroun was fun and gives you background of the dishes that are interesting. Driver picks you up too. Fyi not in River Garden hotel. But in Mayfair. Small but nice hotel. If you are small grouo (we... More

We did a night out with Saroun from Riverside and had am amazing time. We went to a local market and collected some food before heading to Road 60 where we ate bugs, frog and quail on the side of the road with locals. Afterwards we wandered around the family amusement park. Such a wonderful night and Saroun was amazing.... More

We helped prepare the best Fish Amok we had during our week in Sien Reap- and we ate it every day! A lovely relaxed cooking school with deightful Chef Suron in very pleasant surroundings and then a delicious freshly cooked meal bursting with flavour what more could you ask for!

I liked this cooking class a lot. Other than my boyfriend and me, there were no other people attending the class. In fact we booked a cooking class with another company, but they didn't pick us up. So the reception of our hotel called the Cooks in Tuk Tuks cooking class at 9.40 (classes start at 10.00!) and they picked... More

Picked up by tuk tuk from our hotel. 25 dollars per person. We were the only two doing the course today so we got lots covered in a short space of time. It is hands on and you actively participate in making the meal. Sanoor the chef is great company and goes to great lengths to explain all about the... More
