Sothorn was a very knowledgeable guide who speaks excellent English. He was truly passionate about the history of Siem Reap and we have learned so much from him. More like a friend, and we have enjoyed his company so much during the trip. Thank you, Sothorn and we would highly recommend you to our friends. Thanks to Vanith as well for your introduction to Sothorn and for your responsiveness to our emails.

We visited Siem Reap as a couple for 2 days - 1st day to see the temples starting from sunset at Angkor wat , then on the 2nd day visiting some more temples and visiting kampung khleang. The weather was good , the temples were stunning but what made the trip truly memorable was our guide Vanith. I normally don't take guided tours but this was an exception since we had a long schedule and I wanted to understand the history a bit. Vanith is a truly outstanding guide, has a great sense of humor , tailored the schedule to exactly how we wanted. Oh and he took some amazing photographs, which you don't get if you travel as a couple. All in all - would absolutely recommend him .

My wife and I are seasoned travelers and have used the service of many guides in the course of our trips. Our experience with Vanith outshone the ones we had in previous trips. Vanith helped us design a tour plan in a truly collaborative manner, and guided us during our stay in Siem Reap very skilfully. He is a highly professional, service oriented, and intelligent person, who is always happy to share his impressive knowledge about the history, landscape, culture, and people of Cambodia. Beyond that, Vanith is personable, patient, kind, and has a great sense of humour. I highly recommend working with him as your guide in Cambodia! Y&H from Israel

I generally hate guided tours, but Angkor Wat is one of those places where you absolutely need one, if you're not already on an organized trip. I found Vanith (vanithhoeum@yahoo.com) on here, and he far surpassed my expectations. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny, stuck to our incredibly tight timeline without ever making us feel rushed, and gave us a great recommendation for dinner in town. We literally had about 36 hours to spend in Cambodia, and Vanith made every one of them count. I cannot recommend him enough.

I can thoroughly recommend Vanith. We arrived during the New Year celebrations so the temples were very busy but Vanith managed to take us into the temples via back routes so that we could see things without too many people. He is very knowledgable and interesting and a very friendly, amusing person. We really enjoyed our two days with him.
