About
Unique outdoor tours through the hidden Cambodia: Since 2010 we provide sustainable and individual bicycle-, scooter- and trekking tours through the historical Angkor Park and rural Siem Reap. You want to cycle on adventurous jungle trails and explore hidden temples beside the main attractions? Or are you more into discovering Siem Reap’s colourful countryside with all the rice fields, water buffalos and sugar palm trees? Choose your adventure and explore Cambodia behind the scenes. What differentiates us from others? Small groups and a low impact on environment and society is our philosophy of sustainable and individual tourism. Private tours are standard for us and do not cost you any extra. We are 100% Social Business and proud to be the only non-profit tour operator in Siem Reap. All our profits go to the NGO “KKO” – Khmer for Khmer Organisation which provides free education to children in Siem Reap. We support local restaurants, farms and street vendors on our tours.

My wife and I did 3 weeks of volunteer teaching with Khmer for Khmer Organization (KKO), so we booked 4 modified tours with their Off Track Tours company.

Our first full day tour included a ride and walking tour of the National Museum and the Grand Circle (Pre Rup, East Mebon, Ta Som, Neak Poan, and Preah Khan).

Our second full day tour was a walking tour of Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, Bayon, Bapoun, Terrace of the Elephant, and Ta Phrom.

Our third full day tour included a private car rental and drive to Kulan Mountain, where we visited the waterfall, 1000 lingas, a local village, a Buddhist Pagoda and the Banteay Srei Temple.

Our final tour was a half day tour to the floating village in Kampong Phluk by private car, then by boat.

The tours were excellent. Having a private guide and drivers made everything from transport and ticket purchasing, getting around to eating meals very convenient and efficient. At the same time, we received an enormous amount of historical information, details and information that we would never have discovered on our own.

Did you know that pork and red ants are really good, and did you know that the Khmer Rouge were responsible for defacing many of the temples and destroying many of the statues? In the 1970s, rural people collected dry cow dung, boiled it and drank it like tea, believing it held medicinal properties.

I would highly recommend booking tours with Off Track Tours directly. They not only provide hiking and cycling tours, but can organize custom tours like ours. I cannot say enough about our guide Sothea. Amazing!! Tour fees not only help support the local tourist industry, but profits support the non-profit non-government KKO that provides English instruction to children and leadership training and support for young women in Siem Reap - for free.

I highly recommend Off Track Tours!!

We booked a half day cycle tour having read the very positive reviews, and were delighted to discover it was just the two of us. Lok, our guide, was excellent. Great English, very knowledgeable and set an appropriate pace on what were on occasion very rutted tracks. The fat tire mountain bikes made the sometimes challenging terrain (we are not experienced mountain bikers!) easily doable. We visited a market, paddy fields, the school the company supports, a mushroom farm, temple, duck farm and beautiful lotus “farm”. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I did the half-day cycle tour around Siem Reap with our tour guide Luk, it was just us 3 as the tourism industry here is still very quiet since covid.
The tour was informative, sensitive and respectful towards the people, villages and areas we visited.

Luk was really happy to talk to us and answer our questions, he explained much about Cambodias history and the surroundings we visited.

We did have to cycle on some of the main roads to get to the rural outskirts but we felt safe with Luk as he would guide us with hand singles for when to stop, turn etc.

We would recommend this tour to anybody wanting a quieter, peaceful and rural experience of Siem Reap.

Our guide Seng spoke great English and was very knowledgeable. We cycled from Siem Reap to see the sun rise above Angkor Wat temple which was unforgettable. But then we diverted off the well-trodden tourist trail through forest paths to visit temples which we would otherwise not have known about. This is a quiet, peaceful and green way to see one of the worlds most visited tourist spots. Recommended. Only quibble (not Seng’s fault) is that KKO / Off Track should equip bikes with lights for when you set off in the pitch black at 4.30am. The roads have many potholes!

My partner and I had a personal guide for the day, culminating in s sunset over one of the Wats. The whole day was great, and couldn't recommend the company and guide enough. This is a fantastic way to avoid the crowds, see many of the temples in an adventurous way. We also were happy that the costs went towards sustainable practices and projects.

Having the guided tour by bicycle is an excellent and exciting way to explore the vast area with famous and hidden temples around Ankgor Wat. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about all the sites and the history around it. We really recommend this to see more of the area in a fun and efficient way (some fitness is required as we biked 50km)

Awesome experience. We did the inner circle with OFF TRACK tours the day after doing the outer circle by tuktuk. It was the perfect combination. We went by bike with off track tours and saw a ton of places unreachable by tuktuk. Very cool experience and great exercise. Our guide, Sokha, was perfect. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and flexible. He guided us through several temples, as well as through some other local areas. This was my favorite day out of a week in Cambodia. 100% recommend.

This is a great way to see a different side of Siem Reap. Our guide was super helpful and he gave us insight into each of the places we stopped, including a school, a mushroom farm and a local market. We saw other large bike groups along the way and were very happy to be on our nearly private tour!

Nice personalised and knowledgeable tour to see the local's perspective of Siem Reap and its neighbourhoods. My guide, Sothea, was accommodating, friendly, and warm. While the tour may be a little more expensive than some others, the service is quality and much of the money goes back to the Khmer for Khmer Organisation (KKO), an English and vocational training centre/school for young Cambodians.

This was hands down the best way to see the Temples in Siam Reap. We learned so much from our amazing guide Phorn (we recommend you ask for him when you book). His knowledge of Khmer history and the temples was amazing. He gave us advice on how to take the best photos and helped us with everything and anything. The company as a whole were amazing.
Note that we booked Off Track because they are part of a Not for Profit. It was very important to us that our money was supporting the community. At the time of our trip Corona virus had hit their tourism industry hard.
