Visited the gallery in February 2020 and were so pleasantly surprised to see such beautiful arts and crafts of high quality in Mr Theam's gallery. The staff person who lead us on a tour was so knowledgable and provided us with detailed tour of the whole place. It was so great to see that they are focused on careful training of the people that make the art pieces. Mr. Theam's own art work is just captivating, it gives you such pause to see how he portrays Cambodia's past and incorporates the present into the same piece with the modern presentation. Wonderful place to spend an afternoon if you are in Siem Reap, highly recommend!…

i wanted to find better souvenirs than what i saw at the night market, and i found this place on google. Reviews were good, entrance was free, so i decided to visit Theam’s gallery. The gallery has paintings from the artist, mostly big formats, representing different people, usually using grey and red tones in a contrasted way. There’s s little workshop where ‘artisans’ are working on the souvenirs sold in the shop. The shop then offers quite a large variety of souvenirs - objects, scarves, lacquer paintings, table ustensils. Prices are not cheap, but still less than at somes shops on the main avenue, i’d say medium range as per western standards - except for the large paintings and silver objects which are a bit on the high end in my opinion. There’s something for every wallet; i just didn’t find anything for myself. I’d recommend to visit this place, it’s a quick and pleasant leisure activity, best to me is the house itself and all the displays, more than the souvenirs you can buy. …
