About
We offer good affordable massage in Siem Reap. We are situated in the central market area, next door to Mamma shop Italian restaurant (please check google maps or our website). What is so different at Lotus Dream SPA? There are a lot of massage parlours and SPAs in Siem Reap, how to choose one from the other? The differences are in the services, you are the judge and we can guarantee that after one of our treatment you will feel relaxed and ready for another day in the temples or at work.Highest standards of cleanliness, linen and towels are changed after each customer. Soft and freshly laundered massage clothes for your comfort. Our therapists are not allowed to use their mobile phone while with guests, only cool relaxing music. All rooms have full air conditioning, nicely decorated space with low ambient lighting. Professionally trained therapists.Free cold water and ice cold towel when you arrive and herbal tea after your treatment. Very reasonably priced services.

the massage is one of the best in Siem Reap and if you consider the price you can't find a better place. The girls are very nice, specially the one at the counter Srey Nat. I highly recommend this Spa!

The people who work at this spa are awesome. I got a great massage here and returned to get a great pedicure. I didn’t have sandals (long story) and they lent me a pair of flip flops to wear home. My nail polish on my pedicure is holding up really well over a week later :) I went to a couple other places during my time in Cambodia and this was my favorite spa experience.
One note: I had a bikini wax here and they used soft wax. The owner warned me they use “roller wax” and some people don’t like it. I decided to give it a try but it was very bad for the bikini area. Ive used roller wax on my arms and legs and it was GREAT. But the bikini area is too thick and multidirectional, and the woman who waxed me had to go over and over the same area many times. Ouch.
Overall AWESOME- just skip the bikini wax!

I am SO glad I went to this spa! I had one of the best massages I ever had... from Sophia! Previously, the best had been at Wat Pho in Bangkok so that is really saying. something! The rest of the team was great also. I had a body scrub and waxing done. They really made it a nice experience for me and offered me a discount when I went to pay. I checked the reviews on trip advisor. before going and remember thinking maybe the lady. who was recommended is no longer working there but after visiting, I think
they are all there for many years and many more.

I visited Lotus Dream three times in two days, we stayed near the area. Sooo impressed by the quality of the massages and at such great prices! Especially loved the foot massage and aromatherapy massage. We traveled with our young kid so my husband and I took turns to get our massages.

The place is very well-run and clean. Best to ring the shop to make an appointment to ensure availability.

I was at Lotus Dream with my husband on the 9th August 2011. Upon consulting with the manager there, we decided on 1.5 hours of traditional massage (USD11 each) and 1 hour body scrub (USD22 each). We started with massage which was bad- the masseurs did not get any of the pressure points and my husband has nails mark all over his body due to long fingernails! And then it was body scrub time. We were told to change and the masseurs had the scrub lotion in a coconut bowls-one for each of us. What they did was simply apply the scrub on our body- in random directions and half way through, my masseurs actually spill all the scrub in the bowl and we ended up sharing one bowl between the two of us! After applying, towel over our body and they simply left. We were left in the room with scrub on us for 40 minutes after which they return with wet towels to wipe off the scrub. By then the scrub has hardened and it was very waxy! Since the scrub has dried up, it was really painful to wipe off. Both of us ended up taking long hot shower just to wash off the scrub. Our skin did not feel soft and smooth but it was just waxy. We paid USD22 each for the body scrub which was a nightmare!!!! I would not recommend this place to anyone!

Well, nobody likes bad reviews and especially when it seems that it coming from someone who is probably jealous of our good performance on Trip Advisor and would like to go up a few steps. This review is considered suspicious and has been reported to Trip Advisor. For the following reasons: 1/ On August 9 2011, no couple has had 1 ½ massage and a body scrub. 2/ Our staff is check twice weekly to make sure finger nails are cut properly and we never heard of anyone left with fingernails marks, not at Lotus Dream SPA. 3/ We do not have or use coconut bowls 4/ When client have a full body scrub, we do cover the all body (except for bikini) with a prepared mixture of green tea leaves, mineral salts and oil. This mixture has to stay on the skin about 20 minutes to be active and then we wipe it up with a wet cloth and clients have to take a hot shower to clean the rest. This is normal procedure. It is not possible that the mixture dries as described by this person because it is an oily mixture. Even if you would leave it for 3 days it will not dry….! We are happy to hear comments, good or bad, if they have anything to do with reality but this review is pure calumny and doesn’t make any sense. Feel free to come and check our place for yourself and also our books are open if you want to see who was in our place this August 9….. It is also strange that this person who called him/her self morgan_miki has written only 1 review (a bad one) and has nothing on his/her profile. Who will go through the all process of registering in Trip Advisor just for 1 bad review??

I went there following the reviews of tripadvisor and had an oil massage. The massage in itself was mediocre. The lady was very young and clearly had not much experience in what she was doing. But what really upset me was the place in itself: it's old and dirty, there was no water running, no shower and the massage rooms were dirty and full of bugs and spiders. There are much better spas for the same price in Siem Reap.

How strange these comments are. If you were not happy with your treatment you really should have spoken to the Manager at the time. As for the place being dirty see the other comments above and below your own which remark on the cleanliness of the place and the excellent treatment received. How can things change so much in so short a time?

We were in Cambodgia for one week, including Xmas.
The goal of our trip was to visit Angkor temples but also to rest and have some massages.
The Lotus Dream spa has very good reviews on trip advisor (12ème/90) and we decided to go there.
First of all, not so easy to find : little shop in a small tiny street, not very welcoming front.
The friendly lady at the desk (the owner ?) give us the menu.
The lady bring me to a cabin : none sensory positive points :
- pink wall painting, a ceramic loabster pined at the wall with a green stick in its mouse
- a kind of techno/pop domestic music and 3 times the same music "cd"
- no aromatic oil but a down market oil
- the girl was not well trained and the only technic she had was to scrub my legs and arms.
I had to stop her when she made the "facial massage" without cream and too strongly.
At the front desk they offer you to have a shower after your massage. Don't if you don't want to use the toilet "shower"!!!
- last but not least the beverage they offer you was not good.
As you can see, nothing zen nor "dream"...

I really don't understand the other traveller's reviews.
There are many better spa in Siem Reap

I had the 4 hands massage. The old female owner was rude, the massage was way below average, the girls giggled and talked, there was no standard.

Negative reviews are replied to in a nasty tone, so decide on your own if they deserve your business!

Dear CranberryT, Thank you for taking the time and effort to post your second review about our spa. The first having been removed by Tripadvisor for violating their guidelines with unfounded accusations. I decided many months ago to stop posting replies to reviews as i was taking them far to personally and replying in an unprofessional manner. I have decided to respond to yours because of your personal attack on my wife. We are a small family run business trying to secure a future for our 14 month old daughter and terrible reviews are truly upsetting for us. All our staff are trained to a high standard and not supposed to talk during a massage. I do apologize to you if this did happen. I have spoken to all our staff to ensure this doesn't happen again. I would like to thank everybody who has taken the time to read my response and ask them to take a look at your other reviews you have posted. You don't seem to have a good word to say about anybody, even one you gave a 3 star ratting. I can only hope people decide we do deserve there business based on most of our other reviews. Kind regards, Rick,Navy and all the team at Lotus Dream Spa.

I came to this place on account of all the good reviews on tripadvisor. Ive travelled throughout a LOT of asia and had many, many massages. I found this one to be woeful. This wasn't really a massage- I would call it a 'soft stroke' which I barely even felt despite asking the girls three times to make it stronger ( problem was the girls don't speak any English so they didn't understand what I was saying) instead she started poking me really hard on my bones and in the stomach. It didn't appear that the girls were trained very well in massage.

On top of this the prices were still high for Cambodia standards ($14US for a head neck and back massage)

I read the bad reviews on tripadvisor before I came and have to say I agree with them. The owner has replied to others stating that competitors are writing these but its simply not true. Im a tourist from Australia. I don't usually write reviews but I was so disappointed with this one (probably more so because of the good reviews and expectation) that I went to the trouble of signing up and posting this. Finally, its not even about the money - don't waste a precious hour of your holiday time at this place. There are plenty of other spas in Siam Reap that are far far better and cheaper

After reading the good reviews received, we decided to book a traditional massage for my wife and a four hand deep tissue sport massage for myself.
We feared that we could not have a massage when we wanted it (due to the high recommendations on tripadvisor). Two days before, we make an appointment, there were no booking for the day we wanted and only one for the next day.
When we came back two days later no one was present in the shop. A European with a baby came in and, after staring at us during 10 seconds, he finally said "What can I do for you?" (This was the owner I presume) I told him we had a reservation. Without saying nothing, he went to the desk, he opened the appointment book and after went away without a word. Two minutes later he came back with two glasses of fresh water. He told us "It will be 10 minutes later. Is this ok for you?" He gives no reason and no apologies for the delay. After 15 minutes they took us in a room together (it was a bit strange because a previous review mentioned that those massages are done in two different places).
The therapists came in and without asking anything about physical problems they begin the treatment (my wife has pain on her neck, it has to be treated carefully)
The treatment was average. For the 4 hands treatment one girl was treating the legs while the other one took care of my arms and my shoulders. They didn't take care of my back. The therapist who was taking care of my legs seems competent, I had the feeling the other one was a beginner.
My wife did not find the traditional massage better than the ones she had in Siemens Reap.

To summarize, the welcome was cold and not very professional (the appointment was not respected) and the treatment was not better (but not worse) than other places in Siemens Reap. But the price is higher.

I had expected more based on the other reviews.
