- Rachel MBirmingham, United Kingdom14 contributionsIt's ok but very croudedFirst I am going to say the climb down is ALOT you have to walk down a steep hill rocks and mud before you get to the top of the waterfall then you go through some trees/mud/rocks which again is steep to get theop the STAIRS! There is a huge staircase really steep all the way down. The views once you are down is amazing we didn't go in the water as it looks very brown and i had an ear infection already. It gets really busy around lunchtime.Visited November 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten November 28, 2023

The water falls scenary is good and water is coming in force. We took bath in the main fall and enjoyed. In the down, water is running at a lower speed and senior and children can enjoy.Visited December 2023Traveled with friendsWritten December 24, 2023
- Traveling Munchkins1 contributionFun,Pretty,Majestic, and MistyHi You so have to do this. The Kulen waterfall is so much Fun🤩. There are donut floaties. It was a bit cold at first but then you get used to it. There are small little fish that nibble you -r feet, well from what I heard. You can go under the waterfall it’s like a massage. You can also go on the rocks behind the waterfall.Visited December 2023Traveled with familyWritten February 10, 2024
- 826sunshine2016Toronto, Canada100 contributionsLoved itIt’s a hard walk in the heat to get to the falls but well worth it. The falls was so powerful I was afraid to get in but one of the people in our group did and he loved it. He took amazing instagram pictures, in case you are into that. There were some stalls to buy things and they had very nice dresses that were cheaper than at the night market. Bring cash.Visited July 2024Traveled with friendsWritten August 27, 2024

Beautiful and chill water pool with natural minerals. If you are here then its must to take a dip in this pool.
When I visited there were many people but all on corners of the pool, dont know why and then me and couple of people went near the water fall and it was amazing and suddenly so many people came around.
Its safe and not deep for adults. Just be little careful as there is sand only upto certain part and then there are stones which can hurt you legs badly if your not careful.
You have to walk and climb down and up some stone stairs to reach here but its all worth it

This is a great place to visit if you looking to escape from the heat of Siem Reap for a few hours. The waters are cooling and the water is clear. Only it gets quite crowded during weekend with locals loving this sport to cool off from the heat. Only the stairs are quite a steep climb down if you want to view the main waterfall.

What a nice half day visit to this waterfall. It is beautiful and certainly a site to see. I got some fantastic photos here. It's not incredibly deep I'm 5"4 and I could stand in the water.
Dont take any belongings. We had a lovely guide who held our stuff whilst we went in but it's best to just try and not bring it.
There is a lot of walking, especially steep walking so wear comfortable shoes and bring your own drink.
You will get super wet, goes without saying.

Half-day trip to the Phnom Kulen mountain with Borey (from Borey Cambodia Tours) was a great escape from Siem Reap. I had a really good time, especially with no tourists around. Borey was knowledgeable about both the mountain and Cambodia’s history. He was friendly and spoke good English. He helped with picture taking and was accommodating all my requests. I highly recommend him.

Excellent place for family holiday!! I have been there with my family and small kids, they are really enjoy with the swimming at the waterfall. The place I was there name: Peam Kree, which is located next to Koulen Waterfall, the place is clean, reasonable foods price. I really want to go there again.

Sorphea the guide was amazing. We booked late in the evening and managed to get a private tour last minute. Sorphea knew little hidden spots along the route and as a photographer I really appreciated it. He took us on a food and culture tour before we reached the waterfall. Highly recommended.

Very tall waterfall, beautiful even in 'dry' season. Amazing for swimming, very safe. Fish will nibble at your feet! Very steep stairs to get up and down, difficult for elderly or small children. Bring cash for changing rooms/lockers if needed.

I’m hoping to book a private tour for two in a taxi as mentioned by Angela L. Any recommendations of taxi firms? Thanks 👍
